@Uncle Pauly I am interested in what John did custom work wise to your MWS as they are my local store.
Thank youHe worked on two MWS for me: both fitted with a load of new internal parts and one of them with a new rail (L119A2 build), which needed a custom fit.
Fitting the parts involved some fettling and machining to get everything working together perfectly. Both RIFs are now firing very ‘snappily’ with a faster cycle rate.
If you’re skilled at this sort of work yourself, then you could probably attempt it DIY. But I personally lack the knowledge and tools to do some of the more tricky aspects (tigger box work and machining, for example). So I wanted a safe pair of hands to do it for me.
What really impressed me was John’s attention to detail in ‘doing the job right’, rather than just getting it done. He invested a lot of effort in thoroughly testing the rifles and ironing out any issues with the new parts. Definitely someone who takes pride in his work.
I do some tech work myself - albeit on bass guitars - and can always spot a good egg when I meet one ?
Wish I had the moolah for an ICS sig in the black friday sale. Those were some great prices!
