So, I’ve had a look through the forum & can’t find any info, so reaching out to anyone who might know.
I have had an E&L Mk18 for quite some time now, & pretty happy with the tech side of things. I’ve gutted and upgraded various RIFs from various manufacturers (G&P, G&G, TM, Cyma, Specna Arms, ICS etc) over the years… re-shimming, short stroking gears & pistons, replacing pistons and compression parts, as well as re-wiring and replacing trigger components etc, so would claim to be “competent” when it comes to the inside of a V2 gearbox.
Now, the current mechanical trigger is on its last legs, I’m contemplating options… what I want to know is if the E&L v2 gearbox is the same dimensions as a standard V2 (Quick change spring system or whatever), and whether you can just switch it out?
pretty sure it’s based off the VFC ambi-gearbox…
Anyone able to answer this?
