Hi my name is Jacob.

I played allot of Airsoft when I was younger, from the age of 12 till 17, coming back to the sport as a 29 year old, I played for the first time in years last weekend it feels like a very different experience. And my love for the sport has blossomed once more.

I am going to start a YouTube channel which is called DRAGON COMPANY AIRSOFT, I want to create a squad of like mind players. I have took apart and upgraded all my guns and will be doing some breakdown and gameplay videos.

Not wanting to discourage you, I've seen squads come and go in the past few years for no shortage of reasons.

As you're scouting, it's worth being clear on your hopes and expectations so being upfront about these factors might filter out those who may either waste your time or just not fit in

• Where in the country you are based and how far you'll travel to play
• If there is a specific loadout players have to wear/not wear
• How often you plan to play and if squad members are expected to turn up to certain events
• Whether you play skirmish, milsim, filmsim, CQB, speedsoft, etc

Work, family, cost of living and general disagreements have got in the way.

It may be worth establishing a regular player base at your local site and see how building a squad works from there.
