Hi allz having some issues with the above mp5.
Keeps blowing a fuse.
It started firing full auto in semi and auto.
It has a jefftron leviathon mosfet.
I haven't changed any settings or anything before it played up. Then blew the fuse. I've replaced it several times but it keeps blowing after a shot or 2.
The tracer unit got damaged a while ago, so I removed it and turned off the source thru the app, and it's been ok since.
Tried factory reset on the app, any advice appreciated please.

Can't see the writing on the fuse. Eyes are shite. I've used a few different ones starting at 0.2a and up to 5a. Should I go higher? Being cautious as don't want to break it any worse.

There's your first problem, in my opinion anyway.

How long have you had it?

If it is blowing the fuse there is a problem, possibly a short circuit or the gun is drawing too much current for another reason. Fitting a higher rated fuse will potentially cause more problems.

Could the cabling leading to the tracer unit be damaged?

Had it about 8 months, second hand. Never been an issue before

Take off the pistol grip plate and check that the wiring to the motor is ok; it is a common place for damage to occur and it could be shorting there. If that looks ok, try a different motor. If it is still doing it after that, you need to work through the gun to find the problem.

It's giving a 103 error code on the app now. Wouldn't connect before so I used a different phone and it connected
Cycle sensor isn't activated after trigger pull it says.

Appreciate your input Colin, thanks.
Yes it's cycling at the moment. Using a 7.4v

Ok, if it is cycling and the mosfet says that it is not, that would seem to be a mosfet issue, which might explain the fuse blowing or might not. There could be a deeper problem that has affected the mosfet. Have you checked the wiring in the pistol grip in case the core is exposed?

I took off the safety catch and then found this BB on the floor next to me. Don't think it fell out, but not sure. Any suggestions?
Safely catch is reapplied and engages like before

Yes. And it's possible as the rubber was a little worn on top. I have added a bit of tape over it. I've also adjusted the big screw that holds the motor down, but no change so far. Will reset everything and try again. Cheers

Is that very small and metal? If it is, it looks like a bearing may have blown, which would explain the fuse blowing, although it looks a bit large for that. What do you mean by the "safety catch"? If you mean the selector, it could be the ball bearing from that that lets it click into place. If it is, there should be a tiny spring as well.

It's not part of the selector far as I can see.

Well, the metal ball is not from a bearing anyway; it has bushings, Could those two cut wires have been touching anything? If not, you will probably need to open it up and see if you can see a problem (Blown mosfet, gears too tight, obvious damage); before doing that, maybe try the motor in another gun to make sure it is ok.
