Cringe in Airsoft

I've never undestood why HPA catches the flack as an instant "wanker gun"? If the replica is under the legal FPS limit for its sub class, it shouldn't matter to players what source the replica uses to fire whether it be air, gas or battery. People can build high ROF AEGs that teeter on the legal limit and still be dicks?

Because usually you'll find a good chunk of users treating it as pay to win, which generally reduces the hit taking and increases the overkill as they csnt understand that they are not instantly invincible gods gifts of airsoft

It's because hpa is the easiest platform to build a wanker gun from. Also I've come across a few who really do believe all the hpa master race bullshit, fortunately they're the minority but it does give me a warm fuzzy feeling when I slot them with my below £100 AEG

they can, but the skill required to put together a 40rps aeg that can run reliably all day is very different to dropping in an engine, dialling up one setting in a menu and calling it good.

so unfortunately it's the path of least resistance for those who have fallen for the trap of thinking that the solution to people not calling hits is to apply more hits rather than finding a better quality target to shoot at.

Valid points, but still my point remains. It isn't the replica, it's the person on the end of it and if they decide to be a dick or not. You don't suddenly run a HPA bottle and hate everybody that isn't a speedsofter and mag dump rentals in the face lmao

Anybody can be a dick on the field, even if they're using a £10 springer

Agree, but there's got to be percentage of players that go over to hpa just because it gives them "options" that aeg or gas doesn't.
Obviously by "options" im referring to the ability to go full wanker, wether its rps or fps, probably both, & for all the wrong reasons.

May also be that the amount of HPA at general site days is a small minority, local sites all have 3 or 4 players with it in my experience. Which adds to the view that HPA players are due to the small numbers being tarred. Especially if it's just one of those said wankers.
