Best out of the box AEG?

So as the title says, what is your opinion on what is the best out of the box, leave it alone AEG? I've played the on and off these last few years since covid but all my rifs are in a state of needing some work doing, a good service wouldn't go a miss. Back playing semi regularly and would like to see what peoples opinion on this are. Last time i played the CZ EVOA1 was getting a lot of love as a stock rif, just wondering if there are any new manufacturers or models i could consider!

I was happy with the performance of my Specna Arms Edge SA-E03 out of the box

 
Krytac M4's are  quite likely to get this accolade,and certainly my own has done nothing to make me think their reputation isn't well deserved.

 
Best by what metric?  No work on it at all (beyond barrel cleaning)?

 
So just a good barrel clean and I'd say minor adjustments at a push that I could easily do at home. Just looking for a fantastic platform ready to go and will still be great in a few years. Im not against paying for things to be upgraded, but I'm just valuing reliability over bleeding edge of performance at the moment!

 
Okay I probably should have said I'd like to run it outside and closer to 330/350 FPS. But I do like my maruis!

That's exactly what I was angling to rule out (as an AEG), for the simple reason that 1.1-1.2J is more than 0.8J, and belief in TM magic dust only goes so far once the BB has left the barrel and physics takes over.

Are we ruling out the Novritsch SSR4?

No not ruling it out at all, in fact I have Nov p90 and been really impressed with it. I'm surprised the MK2 is out as it gives the impression something was wrong with the first one? Where ive not kept up with the scene I'm completely clueless on this stuff ?

I was thinking quality/reliability/longevity. They're certainly not the most powerful.

 
Okay yeah I didn't really do well in terms of parameters ?. I guess what I meant was is there been anything released in the past few years that's absolutely incredible, amazing out of the box that doesn't need a series of upgrades to feel snappy, sound great and be reliable? I know I'm after the unicorn but I remember stuff like the Evo was very highly rated and was just wondering if something like that had been released since

 
Hi its the first topic that I wanna say sth. Since 2021 I owned / upgrade lots AEG and Gel blaster (AEG base). When talking about “Best” there are lots factors that we need to consider. Quality? economic?

Suitability for the UK environment? There is no denying it that TM always have fantastic toys but Japan's FPS limitation is 50 lower than UK so the stock marui AEG always have the underpower problem. Plus, NGRS system is interesting but it is really hard to find the upgrade mosfet, gear set etc...Get back to the point, If we don't take the price into account，the "Best" is silverback MDR new version which has strong and beautiful shell，great trigger respond and easily upgrade. But it too expensive....over £400. Specna arms EDGE 2.0 series have the really great price/performance ratio. And talking about AK, E&L and LCT are always my first choice.

At last, there are some platform I will give a recommendation (used and like)

ARES SCAR CQB

LCT AKM wood

 
ASG Scorpion EVO 3 A1

Amazing out of the box

Especially the CNC ULTIMATE EDITION
