Being a newbie

Hi all just new to this site just wanted to know what's the best route for getting into air soft

Go to your local site, Rent your gear and play. It really is that simple.

Have a look in the new players section of the forum, there are a number of useful guides to be found in there.

Generally speaking, what you'll be wanting to do, is book into a skirmish site near you and hire some gear from them, do that a couple of times and then you'll be better informed on what kind of thing you like, what stuff most people have who go there regularly etc. It's tempting to rush out and buy a crapload of shiny stuff from websites, but you'll save a lot of trouble and expensive mistakes if you read the guides in that new arrivals section of the forums and just rent some gear for a few skirmishes before you decide to spend a lot of money on gear.

Definitely go to a site and hire first. Preferably a local shop too if you have one so you could get a feel for guns you like and stuff. And using the forum is great because I made some bad decisions before (CYMA M4) coming on here and reading guides and advice etc
