I've had plenty of trouble with ML Omega nubs not being centered 100% correctly, even slightly off gives a left or right curve that becomes more pronounced when shooting at distance (I need to tweaks my son's RIF again before we next play due to this).
That brings back suppressed memories of a King Arms SVD. ?Ofc that only helps when the hop unit/arm is capable of holding the nub and barrel square in the first place.
That hop sounds like a good option. Where can I get one?I've had plenty of trouble with ML Omega nubs not being centered 100% correctly, even slightly off gives a left or right curve that becomes more pronounced when shooting at distance (I need to tweaks my son's RIF again before we next play due to this).
I went the nuclear option to say goodbye to this forever, with a Maxx Model M4A-PRO hop unit and the solid metal nub which acts like a TDC.
I’ve noticed that the barrel can move a lot with the clip attachedMmm, the tiniest amount of barrel rotation can cause this, and the keying provided by the c-clip is only approximate. It's a wonder that more guns don't suffer from it.
I did this. Unfortunately the fps then dropped from 280 to 80 ?Take it apart, clean, inspect, then try again.

The fps went up to 120-130. I’m now thinking it’s hop/barrel related so I’ve removed the big tension spring and fitted some O rings to push the hop firmer into the gear box
have 13:1 gears fitted but an 18k infinity motor. I don’t know if that will give me problems.
I can just about see the bucking so probs sort slidin the barrel down a few mm
Nub was positioned wrong some how
