Hi guys

i am new to airsoft (i used to go about 7 years ago)

i have tm mp5 but i am looking at buying another gun?

i am looking at a m4 to me the APS M4A1 ASR101 looks good?

does anyone else have or has had this gun is what to you think of it?

thanks guys B)

Never used one but I'm sure you can find some reviews on the web. :)

from what ive heard APS arent that good, but look around anyway.

I'd look at jg, ca sportline, g&g and others

Not that good out the box, and apparently got quite a few proprietary parts, meaning it'd be hard to fix them when they break.

In all honesty, I'd steer clear.

if the above is true, then yeah stay away and buy from a recognized brand

It may or may not be true, but people generally say they're not much good, and the descriptions on actionhobbes state that they use proprietary parts in the gearbox xD

Be worth researching more tbh, actionhobbies are good but sometimes they miss the mark a little bit.

The G&G m4 is brilliant, i have the plastic version (first gun) with blow back, and the thing that makes G&G the best for blow back guns is that unlike most the blowback operates on its own system so you wont get that whole shedding gears that has been known of happening to many other blowback airsoft guns.

i have the G&G GR16 and i would recomend it, and if you are after the full metal version, i can only imagine that it would be the same grate gun, just 10x better.

this was the review for my one

hope this all helps

The G&G Combat Machine series are well loved for being furious little monsters. If I wasn't buying a gun *just* to take it to bits, I'd be buying a Combat Machine.

G&g combat machine's are brilliant, strongly recommend

If anyone happens to know, what is the gearbox in the Combat Machine like? What parts compatibility does it have; what proprietary parts??
