Ammo Counter | Video Recorder

Is it just me or does the ammo counter screen look like the console for the auto-guns from Aliens? That kinda has me sold already...

I really like the concept and I completely understand the chosen platform, however, it is a shame that you haven't done an android version (albeit a bit can of worms as there's many sizes of phone out there)

Maybe once this kicks off properly you will look into that market?

You should start with the HTC One :D

As I said, great concept and hope it works out well for you - Love the added ability of using the camera!

Good spot mate ;-)

Yeah we'll do an Android version, and an Android case once we've got the physical design sorted. As for the BB count, you can input the size of your magazine in the settings. As for high caps where you don't know the exact capacity you can invert the count, so rather than counting down it'll count up, letting you know how much fire power you've laid down.

Oh and you can also set when the critical alert goes off, inputting the number of BB's before you run dry.

When the Google Glass comes out maybe you can make a port for that device? (Unless it runs android in which case your already working on it!)

Man, that's absolutely sick! Out of interest though, I know an App's coming to Android, but what about cases? Nearly every Android phone's camera's in a different position? Nevertheless though, great App! :D

Great idea but what if someone is standing next to you shooting
It uses an IR sensor on the barrel to measure the amount of BB's firing, we did try using sound and vibration to measure but could never get it to work accurately enough! As for the Android cases, yeah we've got plans for windowed case, will post them up on the Facebook page when we've go an update

Out of interest, which version of the iPhone is it made to fit? I've got an old 3GS sitting in a cupboard, this would be an amazing way to use it!

We've built our prototype for the 4S. We're using new bluetooth protocol which uses barely any battery. For the 3S our plan is to cable in directly, as it doesn't support the newer bluetooth. We're aiming to get it working on iPod touches to, so a cheap second one will do the job!

AK, the 3GS is my old phone from a few years ago. I probably paid for it many times over!

If you need someone to test the 3GS stuff, drop me a line.
