Depends how they are run, well structure threads with topics and snippets of the good info, but it all depends on the admin and/or members. The GBBR discord is decent and a good area for knowledge and tips, not toxic that ive ever seen. Then you have some discords that are just hell holes and impossible without the search function.

New to Airsoft forums and got back into airsofting again. Been airsofting since i was 11 in 2004, until about 2012 with Ambush Adventures and Team Armadillo! currently looking to attend Gunman Airsoft eversley quiet frequantly, went a few weeks ago and it was a blast! seems like airsoft forums in the place to be these days, at least for selling/buying what with facebook/discord rules. o/ o7
