What new AEG would you recommend? For around the same price range.

The CYMA has been upgraded by DCA (Dave’s custom airsoft) a local tech to me that’s 100% professional. Not sure about the seekins. The only thing with the CYMA is that it has a tendency apparently to switch back to semi auto on auto. Possible loose selector plate.

Recently come across 2 AEGs second hand. But both look equally good but with different specs. What’s wrong with the ssr4 line from nov. I see some amazing reviews (and the yt videos look class) but then some people just swear blind the gun is cursed. So what’s actually wrong with it? I went into my local shop and asked the tech and he replied with something about when they first came out the E.T.U.s or some part in the gun would ultimately fry its self and break internally (hence the 25year replacement warranty), and how it is made in the same factory and with some of the same parts as lct that had known issues that had carried over to the original ssr4 due to the shared parts. Does anybody know if this is still the case a couple years later on the mk2 version that came out recently. I was so pumped to order until I was told that, now stuck on the fence.. if anybody could advise me it would be much appreciated.

I used to go airsofting all the time last year, I have a VFC Avalon sabre SD at the moment but it’s a cqb shorty. Not practical at all for my field, too short, gun is just very small and battery compartment can’t get 11.1 in, need upgrades internally and with all of that I may aswell get another rif ( handy too have two for a back up also) now just stumbled upon the edge 2.0 range from Specna and it looks promising.

Looking for an assault rifle, will be skirmishing on a relatively big woodland site.

Really stuck on what to buy for my next AEG, and want the best out the box. Have been looking at the Novritsch ss4 mk2, CYMA platinum 097b and have also been recommended a E&C 416. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
