  1. The battery is fine in all my other guns running 8.4v
  2. I don’t think it’s motor height as when I put in a 9.6v (or a freshly charged 8.4v) battery it sounds fine the only issue is I can’t fit a 9.6v in it without making a major modification to it im starting to think the issue is more about voltage
  3. I have an aps Uar and when I use it in a match it sounds like the battery is dying even though it’s fully charged I run it with a 8.4v nickel battery as the site I brought it from said it was compatible that though when I looked on the aps website it stated it was for lipos only so I’m wondering if the sluggishness is due to running a nickel battery on a lipo motor if so would simply switching out the motor solve the issue
  4. I’m pretty sure lipo stands for lithium ion polymer outer or at least something along that line
  5. Thanks for the advice everyone you’ve given me a lot of good points but for now I’ll keep with the nickel batteries and will save for a lipo compatible charger as lipos seem more to offer more advantages for small rifs with small battery spaces
  6. I have rifs that say they’re lipo compatible on the site I brought them from (patrol base) its just when I read about how they need specifical charger’s as well as charge safe bags and you need to store them in specific ways it meant there’s a lot of changes I’d have to make and equipment I’d have to buy to switch over to them
  7. I’ve been told lipos give the best performance out of aegs but when I’ve looked into them I see they have extra requirements like charge safe bags so I’m wondering if the extra cost is worth the increased performance
