For sale. It's mint. Not used other than tested. Comes in original box with full manual, manual includes how to strip it down, not the usual page or two. I can include an original sling as used in the film these are rare. I've got brackets too but would need fitting. There's 3d printed dummy 30mm granades as per pic and an 8.4v vapex stick. Also two genuine magazines. There's a Tommy gun as the base inside as per the original props. It's accurate and shoots well. It looks pretty cool too. Its been displayed only. I can send more pics. No offers thanks and PayPal ideal. PayPal fees not included in the price, est £14.00 extra

  2. Tbh the industrial one only one i have to hand. It is a lot stronger. Real useful in this case. Connector above hop also held up with it too.
  3. Thank you chaps. I finally got this done. Rewired completely with better quality cable. Gearbox had to be rewired as too short. I Found space above hop adjuster wheel for connectors from the gearbox. The board is up front tucked in a perfect size groove and semi permanent due tt industrial velcro. Initial thoughts. Better trigger response, programming easy even for a technopeasant like me. Added a little active brake to take pressure off if spring. Rof 1 notch burst set at 3.It's very good. Burst 3-4 but more 3 than 4 given its not got sensors or require gearbox being opened to instal sensors or such its amazing. It's brought my Cyma g36c up to date for a reasonable price and I'd reccomend the AB++. You'll need to be handy with a soldering iron and basic wiring. It is straight forward. Oh and soldering iron must be earthed and ideally for circuit board type work and zero residule volts through the iron tip or you could pop the components. If you're local to nn4 I'll fit it for you for cost of parts used, few connectors and cable. It's a definite hit! My Cyma is probably the cheapest gun to buy that I have. It is just spot on for me, it fits me perfectly, I've spent loads rebuilding the v3 gearbox with top quality parts, bearings, uprated hop and pommy barrel. Would have been cheaper to buy a TM one! It's also been a massive learning curve for me and now confident pulling these apart. Ove put pommy barrels and purple hop rubbers in both MP5's just the ump to go (H&K fanboi)
  4. Cannot remember so didn't want to call out an i'nnocent' I binned the bb's so cannot easily check.
  5. Currently ASG's. I've tried a de brands with mixed results, one wwll known and rated brands pellets being visually smaller, confirmed by my digital calipers, only a little but smaller diameter than two other brands I had to hand! May have been Counterfeit as a fleabay purchase. Given the money spent on buying and uprating airsoft hardwear it seems sensible to use reliable ammo.
  6. This sums up life for me. "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing..." George Bernard Shaw Gonna have good and bad days if you're having more good than bad days and enjoy it stick with it. Its not cheap and I can always find things to spend money on, most I don't really need but its the same with most hobbies.

  8. Thanks chaps. Put the sten kit up at 275.00 The AEG IS 220 new mags 15.00 each bag 50 and sling 20.00 & suppressor £60.00 I guess its idown to if anyone wants the lot or not. I'll put an ad on here too. They're surprisingly good to shoot. Rof about right for a real STEN and accurate. 370fps too. I've also got a NOS pistol grip made for operation Market Garden, designed literally on a fag packet days before and rapidly produced. Turned sten into a great cqb weapon. So simple a design too. The original STENS designed to be produced by the likes of Raleigh bikes as just bent steel tubes. The bolt and barrel the only high precision parts. Plus they were designed to use the MP40 mags so ammo could be taken off of the enemy. The finish on mk1&2's was pot black. The paint used to paint motorbike engines and cylinder heads at the time. Cheap and simple to produce was the spec and they certainly were. British ingenuity at its finest. Thanks for your input all. If anyone is interested please message me. I'll get an ad up.
  9. I will be putting them both up for sale in the near future. Wall brackets included I kid you not. Some idea of sale prices would be a great help. Paul
  10. Thank you. Been taking things apart since I was a kid. Eventually decided it would be a good idea to work out how to put them back together. I've been tuning and uprating my gbb pistols and finally opened up the v3 gearbox in my Cyma g36c. It was running well and its my favourite long so wanted to put some reliability and long life into it. Ended up replacing everything inside the g/box through trial and error and actually enjoyed shimming the gears. Things like air nozzle lengths meant a lot of learning that just because many airsoft guns are copies/clones of say TM that parts stated will fit or work don't always. Nice to push yourself. The v3 gearbox works and is better than standard on the chrono and quieter. Not cheap but glad I did it in the end and learned an awful lot more than I did know Mosfet next Ab++ is a work in progress in the G36. Yeah I like teching and tweaking to get just that bit more out of them. I mentioned the disability but only as it prevents some activities but I intend to get involved more and exercise of any sort vital, it's like physio and good for mental health/keeping positive. Good to hear others are not letting such a physical sport stop them from getting involved. I plan to get stuck in rather than just stuck. The guy using his chair as a tank, top man! That's the spirit! Whilst new to this it's just what I needed and i hope to contribute and eventually see some members on the battlefield maybe
  11. STEN. Has standard heat shield/grip as well as the suppressor
  12. Hi, I'm not usually on the Internet or forums. This seems like a pretty good place though. I'm disabled, several strokes and a degenerating lower spine limits what I can do. I'll lead with that as it does affect day 2 day stuff and airsoft/hobbies which it pretty bloody irritating. 'My airsofting' is pretty limited, I've got a 25m private alleyway next to the house I use for target practice/plonking and hoping to get over to a facility near me to use their electronic target system to test my skills and hopefully improve. I'd live to get involved in some skirmishing but it's not happening whilst I can barely walk atm. I enjoy modifying and working on 'armoury' and fitting an AB++ into my G36c. i upgraded its gearbox a while ago which was a steep learning curve but enjoyed it. Hoping to get some mobility back and get out there at some stage. So that's about it really, I've always loved shooting. Airsoft is ideal such a range of hardwear and a lot of fun. I've enjoyed lurking in here a while and will jump in if I can help. Paul
  13. Pretty much what I was going to ad and hi. Have a think about am optic very least a green/red dot lazer for fast target acquisition o ise a 551 copy mostly and like it a lot. Worth checking on availability and cost of spare mags as you'll need a handful. High capacity tend to rattle and are wind up but can hold 500 rounds! I prefer sprung mid caps usually 100approx x rounds horses for courses but being well camoflaged with mags rattling as you move is not ideal. Have a think about a secondary/pistol and mags too. Some deals on many sights atm G19 is a good size and all-rounder WE or Umarex won't break the bank, upgradeable and pretty good value. G18c with fully auto option and extended mags is a hoot and gets the job done. Hello and enjoy. fwiw i was. Convinced I wanted an mp5k-sd6 as barrel can be easily extended within the fake suppressor. I bought it and it's great. I also bought a g36c a few months later. Not sure why, not made of money but i got one think i must have been watching Line of Duty. Its my favourite long by a long chalk. Handles great, fits me great and a lot of fun. G36c Stock folds for cqb and its able to shoot decent groups at 25m The MP5 hardly gets a look in. I wouldn't spend a fortune on my first gun knowing what I now know but buy good. Specna and E&C are both good makes. If you really like the 416 you can upgrade it. Start with barrel and hop before heading to the gearbox I've fitted laylax prometheus inner barrels and where possible & better hop units or just the rubber parts and got better accuracy & consistency maybe a little fps improvement too. Sorry for the brain dump.
  14. some appraisal advice really. I bought the AGS STEN & MP40 as wall hangers. Always wanted one since playing war as a kid. So when I saw them it made sense. I bought the replica bags with pouches for mags, then 4x 50rnd mags each, repro slings Even invested in the Vintage Arms(?) STEN suppressor kit and uprated rear QR bolt and fixed the wobbling butt plate the AGS STEN's seem to have so the the stock is solidly attached. Big plans....18 months on they're not up on the wall but gathering dust. I have Shot them both once and great fun. As much as I (thought) i wanted them they're not used and put away. I use more 'modern' AEG's when my back allows. MP5-SD, G36c G18c G19 & UMP are more my cuppa tea. I'm considering selling the STEN and MP40 with all their accessories to somone who will hopefully get some use and pleasure out of them. Given the accessories and AEG's they are literally like new condition wise and selling each with all the bits a rough guide on prices would much be appreciated. Pic of mp40 below. It's really not a veiled ad. I cannot find similar for sale with all the bits and pieces. Not sure if It's best to sell the AEG's with mag, batt and charger and the repro bag, slings 3x mags, etc separately. To me it seems sensible to sell as one lot but new to this and bout to display more than use. I'd appreciate any advice Paul Reply to this topic... 17. Picture worth a 1000 words. This is great. Thank you. Well this week has been frustrating. I cut the ab++in half, requested to by Jakub at Perun. It appears to be faulty. They're sending me a new one. Jakub runs Perun and found the time to help me out and answer my questions and fault find. Superb service from Jakub/Perun. Whilst signal getting down signal wire to the ab++ it wouldn't trigger the motor. Lot of tests later it appears board may be faulty. BTW its wired up just like the v3 gearbox in the pic. So awaiting a new ab++. I've got a (Rocket) upgraded switch I'll fit into the gearbox. Whilst waiting. I'll get there. Appreciate the input. Can feel quite isolating working on your own.
  18. Thank you gents. The upfront installation looking likely. I had a reply from Perun saying that signal cabling can be run full length without issue ( they repled very quickly) confirming your advice. As there is a glass type fuse built into the battery compartment I'll likely ditch it, stick The MOSFET board there and wire in accordingly isingvthe onboard fuse. I really like the g36c. It seems to fit my frame and style nicely. I have just gotten a CA UMC (UMP45) which is great to shoot and a very close second to the G36c in suiting me and sheer fun. I'll update once I've got it sorted. Awaiting Deans connectors pack which I must say I really like this type of connector. Again thanks. Paul
  19. That's great. Many thanks. I would appreciate pics and i reckon rewireing/replacing connections with Deans is the answer.
  20. Hi, Cyma g36c. I really enjoy shooting this gun. I've upgraded parts over time, barrel, hop, gearbox all done to give reliability and accuracy foremost. I've looked at MOSFET tech with a view to reducing current through the electronic trigger and settled on Perun AB++ as does just that plus some other handy features, active brake, more realistic RoF& burst mode plus others. There's not a lot of room in any AEG I've opened up and the G36c is short on room. I'd like to have fixed it around the gearbox but not the room I can see. Cut a piece of foam to same dimensions and attached it it, reassembled and each time the foam is dented/crushed so not ideal. I'm considering removing the plugs and extending wiring but still not any room I can see down the gearbox end. I'm considering moving the unit into the battery area at the front. This would depend on the signal wires carrying a decent signal from the trigger to the motor i guess. Has anyone fitted a mosfet into a G36c and where did you put it? The Ab++,is a drop in type, no gearbox disassembly 15mm long x 5mm x 2mm. Probably worrying about nothing, just install in batt area but would appreciate any advice. If successful I'd probably update my old tech aegs with this type of mosfet over time. Mp5kpdw should be a barrel of fun to find the space in... Tia. HIDE THE MOSFET supposed to be the title. Cannot seem to edit it. DOH!
