This layer consists of a jacket and pants Jacket: -Stand-up collar -Hood with drawstring closure -2 way zipper with chin protection and Velcro closure flap -Drawstring bottom -2 breast slit pockets with zipper closure -2 breast Velcro strips -2 upper arm pockets with Velcro for closure and patches -Zipper controlled ventilation flaps under the armpits to either trap in heat or allow sweat to evaporate depending on the conditions. - The elbow area is reinforced with a lining of high-strength fabric type called Cordura 350D. Pants: -Snap closure with zipper fly -4 belt loops, loops fit 7.5 cm belt -Elastic at the back of waistband - Removable suspenders -Side slant pockets -Side thigh pockets with drawstring closure and Velcro flaps -Knees and seat are reinforced with high-strength fabric called Cordura 350D. -The top and bottom of the side seams contain zip closures for easy removal of pants and provide free access to shoes. -The bottom of the pants is adjustable with elastic and snap closures.
