An Aldi special - Crane Neoprene 'fishing' gloves at £4.99 a pair. In camo or olive, fingerless or full finger. The latter have Velcro pin back fingers. They look decent enough and perfectly suitable for airsoft I'd think. I didn't stop to browse in detail but the 'middle aisle' had a whole bunch of 'fishing' gear in camo and olive; fleeces, etc. Granted, not as cool as Helikon, etc, but you never know - could be worth a look.

Maybe a bit peripheral, but might be of interest: In that middle bit of Lidl where they stick all the weird random stuff that doesn't 'fit' anywhere else, I found yesterday 500ml rattle cans of what they call 'satin matte' or 'chalkboard' spray paint at £4.99 a pop. Pretty reasonable when you consider, for example, Humbrol acrylic spray costs more than that for half as much paint. Just how 'matt' these are I can't say - but it certainly isn't gloss paint! Various colours available; probably of most interest to folk on here is the olive green. Though looks more like a mid camouflage green rather than olive (which I'd say should properly be more on the brown side of green) to me. Anyway, might come in handy for any camo paint projects that people have got on the go - just thought I'd flag it.

Understand chaps, thanks - and really not a complaint. I was happy with the experience. Only mention the lack of comms post-purchase because pre-purchase they answered questions promptly and in a friendly manner. So it just seemed odd, in comparison. As I said, I'd gladly use them again - no problem.

Made a first-time purchase from these guys recently. My experience was positive - had what I needed, prices reasonable, sent fast, friendly and approachable attitude. BUT... Strangely silent when it came to aftercare enquiries. Emailed them a couple of times with a bucking question; no response at all. Wonder if they thought I was complaining (I wasn't). Odd switch around from very helpful, pre-purchase, to completely missing post-purchase. Slightly disappointing when it all started so well, but a fairly minor thing on balance - I'd certainly use them again, and you could do a lot worse out there.
