  1. I was trying to buy smallest possible torch with integrated grip to use on pistols. I found one made by UTG but nowhere to buy anythere outside US. So I decided to make my own. The hardest part was to find smallest possible torch with instant on light and highest possible lumens. The one I got is a size of AA battery and has real output of 650 lumens. Not bad for such tiny EDC torch. Next step was easy with bit of help from thingiverse and my limited cad skills I manage to produce this it's tiny c.8x6cm!! tested on the game day and was better than expected perfect pistol torch with grip
  2. Since you said you are open to other platforms let me recommend you WE G39c. This is working mule and fairly cheap one as well. Those replicas are easy to maintain and repair and have good opinion to be reliable. May be hard to get new (I managed to find one) but there are plenty second hand as well. In the world of m4 dare to be different other recommendation will be WE Apache series (mp5).
  3. Let me share with you my personal experience. I use mesh mask for couple of years now and I had no issues. There where few drawbacks like reflections from the sun making it more difficult to see outside but not a problem indoor. They during pandemic we played one game where we had to wear masks underneath and my glasses were steaming non stop. so I took of my glasses and play the round only with mesh mask. CQB site, sneaking on the dark staircase... To make long story short I got shot at close range in my face (not the first time and not the last) but this time unfortunately the other player or used low quality bb's or I was unlucky as the BB cracked on impact and few shards did hit my eye. Painful as hell. And I call myself lucky as it I have no permanent damage but this experience made me much more aware of risks. Again if you wear glasses (as I do) then mesh mask is more than ok as long as you have this secondary protection level p.s. couple of years ago I remember that one member of this forum has shared a pic of him in A&E with the BB shard stuck in his eyeball from similar accident I had. I believe he was ok afterward.
  4. This is pretty decent 1000lm torch made by WADSN. I use the same model and I paid more than this on Ali! IMHO this is good price for UK retailer. https://www.socomtactical.net/wadsn-xh35-tactical-weapon-light/?utm_source=Socom+Tactical+LTD&utm_campaign=ad1225cd0e-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2021_10_06_05_30&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_467430e2ce-ad1225cd0e-167312710&mc_cid=ad1225cd0e&mc_eid=7ca1f03aee
  5. My first ever leather project. I wanted old fashioned flap holster for my shadow 2 with torch. Couldn't find one so I designed and made it been using it in few games already and is still in one piece. I call that a success
  6. Hi all Does anyone have a copy of the sticker that was provided is some of the G36 mags with bullets on it? I would greatly appreciate pdf copy. There used to be for £2-3 on eBay made by FMA as well but they seems to disappear now Thank you.
  7. thanks all. you are confirming my worries. I thought that this may be some small local shop buy without any positive feedback I will not risk.
  8. Hi all. I am looking for first hand feedback for: Kings of Airsoft Did anyone purchase anything from them? Are they trustworthy? How well they handle your order, communication and most importantly how they resolve issues if happens? Thank you.
  9. I made one if you need it: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4123714
  10. With the market full of weird versions of ak variants it's easy nowadays to find AK replica you like, and with this AK-19 version as it has been said above you probably can take any AK at the marked and throw grip, stock and front to make it v.19. so unless you are hard core AK purist who MUST have the latest AK I don't see this haveing much luck on Airsoft market.
  11. I watched YouTube to see what they were all about and it seems to be lots of hassle to charge and reload? Was it really worth it? I find current CO2 system so much easier to operate. Still with any gas replica every valve is potential failure point and this model had valve and 2 orings in each shell. ,😬
  12. I am not sure that's why I asked here how others understand this short article. They mentioned revolver in it. So difficult to imagine shotgun shells in it 😉
  13. Hi all. Am I missing the point or this guy was arrested because he had Airsoft gun at home? https://www.lincolnshirelive.co.uk/news/local-news/revolver-air-gun-taser-court-4236080.amp I understand the taser charge but air gun? They say he had two charges one for taser which is fairly obvious but the second one is for possessing at home "an air weapon using self-contained gas cartridge system". But isn't this a definition of any GBB and CO2 Airsoft replica? WTF?
  14. So batteries arrived today, ordered on Sunday - well packed and secured. I mean very well. Box, in the box some paper and two other boxes in each of them bubble wrap battery and manual. Mean time independent email how to use lipos etc... So far so good. Also batteries fit like a glove. Perfect size I can close the compartment without the worry that I squeezed the lipo packs. As expected 7.4v is not as crisp as 11.1 would be but with the latter (as replica has been powered down to UK legal requirements) It tend to have overspin as the guts and motor are meant for 420fps in full auto. Nothing I can't live with or the bright side the guts should serve me bit longer on 7.4v for reference this is the battery I purchased for Bolt AKS74U: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-1000mah-2s-20-40c-lipo-airsoft-pack.html
  15. Instruction unclear... soldering iron stuck in the eyeball 😱🤪 the best way to describe my soldering skills LOL but if it will come to this I may increase my house insurance and then give it a try. At the same time I would change mini Tamiya to Deans connector as they take quite some space as well. I have just placed order with hobby king (thx EDcase) so will wait and see when the package arrives.
  16. Thank you for reply. The replica is made by Bolt and they use wooden grips which as beautiful as they are, they are also but thicker than tm plastic and takes more space. Also they use steel brackets at each end which takes bits of length as well. Is made card board model of the battery I found and it could fit under condition that it wont arrive with 2m of wires 😅 I will buy it and let you know it it will fit - just in case there are any other aks74u Bolt users here
  17. Because there is no space there. Recoil system takes it and therefore tiny front grip is the only place to put it. And I do not want to spoil esthetic with storing it outside the replica.
  18. Cyma did this with their Bizon high cap mag using spring loaded horizontal plunger. re P90 I use Cyma version and can’t complain, didn’t mod it at all and for CQB performance is ok for me. Taiwangun had p90 mag pouches for molle and leg drops.
  19. Thank you gor your reply I am not trying to build a monster I got AKS74U which has only space in front grip to store battery. Original battery has dimensions 95x20x10 and closest I found so far is 101x20x10 which is 1000mah 7.4v and 20/40c so unless I find any even shorter I will give it a try.
  20. Did I start 2 topics? Apologise if I did it wasn't intended. I didn't even notice this.
  21. Hi I look for lipo 7.4v which dimensions won't exceed 95x18x15mm. Capacity is not an issue as I can carry few on me during the game. High c rating would be beneficial and mini tamiya is preferred. Would you have any experience with such small batteries? So far my googling didn't provide any useful outcomes Will be grateful for any suggestions. Cheers.
  22. Hi All I saw few interesting items on this site. https://airsoftshop.cz/ Does anyone have any experience with them? are they trustworthy? Is it correct that they do not accept PayPal? How’s they customer service and post purchase support/guarantee? thank you.
  23. I have just finished my project just in time for tomorrow's game what do you think? This one has active spare mag retention. And because I had no holster which would fit this monster I design and made one. We will see tomorrow how good it is
  24. I purchased quite a few things from them. Replicas as well as accessories. Not problem ever with delivery or customer service. I had some issues with gbb pistol - it was venting - I ask them for full check and maintenance. They have arranged the courier to UK for pick up on their cost. (Cough ... Cough ... Unlike Firesupport cough....) They did their magic and returned it to me. It didn't cost me penny and the gun is working like a charm since then - smoothest working receiver I have ever had. Other time the standard NiMh battery that came with the replica swell on first charge. I mentioned it to them. They have ask if I like a replacement since I wasn't planning on using it either way they gave me couple of spare mags for the gun I purchased instead. So can't over recommend them!
