    Have you guys seen this? It's a petition to get .22LR handguns legalised in the UK for sporting purposes. I for one would love to get the chance to actually fire a real handgun, even if it is in a tiny lame cartridge.     I'd happily sign it if I could. Shooting is a very fun and rewarding sport and it often brings different generations together. The gallery rifle club I go to is populated by older gentlemen, usually 60 and above. My dad and I are the youngest there and all the knowledge and techniques get passed onto us.

    I've heard that gun crime has actually increased since the handgun ban back in 86 or whenever but it was from a very biased source and I have no evidence to support it.

    I'm going to sign. It would be great because the only shooting people seem to do here is birds and that and they're all posh blokes in tweed and sh*t so an opportunity to fire even a .22 for fun would be great.

    Got to play around with a WE MSK for a game today, absolutely bossed it, got some of the best kills I've had in ages with it. However, my cameras both decided to be cock ends, so I don't really have anything to show for it. Pissed off has been redefined by my mood right now.

    It was good enough to get by on, it was firing shots and they were hitting people, I was really impressed with the shot to shot consistency and the accuracy, it hadn't been lubed in ages either apparently and I could tell because the bolt was sticking and being very sluggish.

    But it was getting through full mags and locking on the last shot, if it had been lubed properly and the hop had been set I don't think it'd be possible to have more fun with an airsoft gun, becau...

    I was using my own mags in it, which had been performing abysmally in my L85, so it certainly functions better than that does.

    About to attempt something stupid... Complete, 100%, down to individual components; WE Glock disassembly. Stripping it right down and giving everything a good clean, hopefully it'll work better afterwards... Wish me luck!

    That means it was probably Fcked to begin with and may have caused your gas efficiency issues. I'd replace all of the springs with fresh ones.

    Yeah, ordered an enhanced Guarder one, as well as a Guarder steel hammer and hammer sear, all for the TM.

    It ought to fit, so it's just a case of waiting and then installing the parts.

    If the enhanced spring gives me gip then the stock Marui one is only £2 so I'll just order a new one. Kinda regretting not just adding it to the order.

    Has anyone ever observed there being a hell of a lot of gas left in a propane bottle, yet their mags are filling/functioning proper? My L85 is getting 6 shots per mag, it sounds like there's still loads of gas left, but I have used the bottle for about 30 or so mag fills up to this point... Is it due to low gas pressure, or the gun/mags?

    have you tried leaving the mags in the cold and the propane bottle somewhere warm to increase the pressure difference?

    Yeah, no change. I'm getting 6 shots from every mag every time I fill it.

    I think the pressure in the bottle has dropped too low to fill a full mag, it just sounds like there's still loads left.

    I've filled about 30 or so mags from it so far which I figure is probably a lot, it's just weird that it still seems to have sp much left.

    as unlikely as it is, it may be the mags so maybe try another bottle of gas and see if that works, and check your internals may be something to do with that?

    Pretty sure today has given me the worst airsoft wound I've ever had. Someone point blanked me in the inner edge of my ear, the harder part of it. Skin's split and there's about half an inch of open flesh. I can make it talk and it bled like a motherfucker for ages, my ear collected it all like a sink.
