    I'm hoping so Marcus haha.

I just need the money and I don't feel particularly attached to it, usually my love for a gun comes from it being a total pig and me having to tame it with upgrades and mods, but the AK has always just been a goody two shoes, it's never needed me to do anything, it's never been a pain in the arse, it's just worked perfectly right out of the box, and that's boring lol.

Due to my unparalleled skint-itude at the moment, I'm thinking of setting myself up as a tech. First 3 jobs will be free to help me build a reputation, so if you need anything doing, send me a PM and we'll see if I can sort anything out for you. No wiring related issues however, currently without a soldering iron.

Well maybe it's different with you but with people i know, they're just being arseholes by nominating everyone to do it, and then doing themselves again. They're just doing to show off and trying to be "hard". Arseholes.

I think the circle I've been caught up in are doing it to try and help promote each other as airsoft personalities, so it's kind of kind to nominate someone because it's saying, "Go check out this person".

But at the same time, I kinda have to throw ice over my head... =/

Remnants of Hurricane Bertha are passing across the South this weekend, Tac.

I think I've caught the edge of it today or something. But I wouldn't hold my breath for a pleasant week on Salisbury.

Always good to have a few bits n bobs around, had to make up my own stock bolt coz ICS was inbetween the 2 lengths of bolts I had - love the stud connectors & made my own bespoke m5 bolt. Just got fed up with wrong BFG adapters so made my own for about a quid - now use 6mm blanks @ 7p instead of 9mm @ 30p

My mate cut up a shotgun shell to turn it into a shotgun primer adaptor lol, couldn't believe no one else had ever thought of doing it before. Primers cost bugger all, I get 100 for £8, though that's still more than 7p each... Not heard of 6mm blanks before.

same thing - .206 shotgun primers are just over 6mm - well actually 1/4 inch to 3/8" steel tube was used.........

zero one did them as a one day silly price for £5 per 100 but usually they are about £7 to £8 per 100

miles cheaper than 9mm or 3/8" blanks - £27 per 100 is cheapest for 9mm I can get. And after some tests

have found not that much difference - so quite happy chappy

Got to play around with a G5. They're fun!

Cheers guys, there's something about the little stubby AKs.

I've never really liked them but the one the guy in the new Purge film had was pretty cool I thought

I like the look of full length AKs but don't get on with long rifles. Works out as the best of both worlds with a 74U.

Seems that my L85 is 100% incapable of maintaining a zero in this level of rain. Dunno if it's the moisture acting on the hop, the gas pressure going all skew-whif or what, but I couldn't hit a barn door from inside the barn right now.

Is anyone watching Utopia on Channel 4? I need someone to talk to about it, because it's the most freakin' awesome show ever but no one seems to be watching it D=

Had a badly inflamed elbow since Sunday night, which is trapping a nerve, and my left hand's palm and little finger have been numb since Monday because of it. Anyone have any advice before I start thinking about seeking professional medical help? I thought it would've gone back to normal in a day or so... =/

Its either Tennis Elbow or Tendonosis. The doctor will probably diagnose you with tennis elbow. best thing to do is ice the elbow a few times a day and use voltarol cream. If problem persist id seek medical advice and sure you get a good diagnosis as treament is different for tendonosis and will conflict tennis elbow. im speaking from experience as im a power lifter and have a problemamtic elbow. I would avoid heavy lifting, lifting and twistin the joint so becarful on your choice of wepon as...

Anyone help me out with some TV stuff? Just bought a proper cheap JVC smart TV, need a wireless adaptor for it, but can't find out which one I need...

Earlier ones wre a bit big and bulky, somtimes making it difficult to get another plug into nearby socket - but have gotten smaller lately - but they work in extension leads even sometimes on a totally seperate ring main upstairs - not 101% perfect but worth looking at for crap signal or saves drilling through walls feeding wired cable etc..

I use HomePlugs to connect my lounge to my router (which is in the spare bedroom with the Master socket - don't ask). Works a treat. MUCH better than wireless.

I have a Netgear Wireless Print Server.

They look like Routers but work 'in reverse'. That is they connect to your Wireless Router and have 4 ethernet sockets and 2 USB Sockets. You can connect a USB Printer to them and turn it in to a network Printer or you can plug PCs in to the Network Sockets and use it as a Switch.

My Router is in the Living Room, My Home office where I spend most of my working life is upstairs. I have a WPS in there for my work PC, game PC, VOIP...

Just been on ZeroIn for some silly reason, and noticed that in their photo section they basically have threads devoted to certain weapon classes and types. Why?! Millions of pictures of the same guns... Boring. Most of the comments are just pictures as well, no one's saying, "Oh that's nice" they're just sticking their own photos in afterwards and no one talks to each other. There's almost no point =/

hmm, I might pop over there and check out the Lee Enfield section for ideas :D

I like the individual photo threads as two_zero has said, they're good to get inspiration. It's annoying though that there's not much conversation in there. I've posted a few questions to people about their 1911/ capa builds and I frequently ogle the stuff in the shotgun thread but that's about it.

the "pictures only" threads can be kinda cool too!

I went for German, I want my Tiger dammit! Only just got to Tier 2, can't remember the name of the tank I've got lol, it's the first one with a decent long barrelled gun though...

Anyone interested in a Mk6 helmet? £20 posted? Need to shift it sharpish.

I have the smallest head ever it would appear! Problem is all standard Berets are made with the same amount of material no matter what band size it is, pure pain in the backside!

    jcheeseright
    jcheeseright
haha, I'll be seeing you on the gash berets facebook group soon with half a sheep's worth of wool hanging down over your right ear then?

    L
    Liam1992
Nah, got an Officer's beret, there's about 6cm less material on it so it looks like a normal Beret on a normal sized head. Solutions!
