  • First time playing in 3 years and tooth shot out ?

£2600!  I can see why folk take dental-holidays to East Elbonia to get their teeth sorted.

Shame it's the bottom, you can get plates for top teeth a lot more reasonably.  I've had one that was pitched as a temporary stopgap that's been in there knocking on 25 years now. :D

I was told at least £500 for a bridge on my bottom shot out tooth... still havnt had it done that got shot out 7 years ago and still no movement from the adjacent teeth

    Lower face mesh: £10

Dentists visits for the rest of your entire life involving implants (fun fact: implants aren't permanent!), bridges (will ruin the teeth either side!), dentures (you'll never be able to eat normally again!), and recurring agonising infections (when the implants and bridges fuck up!): £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

Too late for OP, but if you're still on the fence about lower face...

If anyone enjoyed their holidays a little too much and doesn't fit there cryes anymore. Gies a shout

Any advice for phone interviews my guys?

    Any specific career?

In general, ask lots of questions and express interest in the answers.  Middle managers tend to love talking about the job.

First job [maybe]. Halfords auto fitter :)

    Will do thank you.

Note down in front of you things you want to know, and things you want the interviewer to know.

Also, come across as human, having interests and not being perfect are a good way for someone to know you’ll fit into the team.

If its an auto fitter at a store rather than one of their garages, make sure you come across as friendly and easily approachable as you’ll be dealing with public day in day out. If it’s a garage not as important, but still worth considering.

Anyone watching/watched, the shit show that is BattleArena?

Some weird competitive format in Finland vying to be a global airsoft tournament. Decent idea (steal the gold then escape) but seemed to fall apart in practise watching today.

Saw a bit of it.  Biggest issue I saw was the commentators....

Probably because you’re ducked ?. If it still doesn’t go far enough back with that off you have no chance

Yea thats fine, ive ordered an offset rail to mount it on, or ill try a riser. If not, it'll go onto my main

So my small torch fits this pistol nicely, the torch above doesn't fit with the riser BUT fits on the offset rails but I'm not sure I like the look of it

*Doesn’t react to double tap* *shoot a steady rhythm (not spam maybe 4 rps) until hand goes up* “Oi one would have been enough” ffs got to love airsoft lol

think he means the hypocrisy of not taking your hits then complaining about getting over-shot.

my motto is i'm happy to give you just one, as long as thats all it takes.

aha yeh. It's only those people that complain about being shot three times as well ?

Listening to 80s/90s electronic music at midnight. Can't beat it ?

Oh I don't know.. Listening to 60s Rock and flying the Huey in DCS is up there for me right now!

Looking at these articles complaining about plus size clothing being more expensive than smaller sizes? Where has logic and reason gone? Should 1L of juice cost the same as 2L?? Discrimination? Raaaah /rant

Loz makes good points, its all the media taking it waay out of proportion anyway. Tv this morning was calling it a 'fat tax', although not a bad idea in general, the amount of money obesity and obesity related diseases (diabetes, heart probs etc) cost the NHS is ridiculous.

*not bashing fatties by the way, just something I read a while ago... Im certainly 'cuddly'

+1 Ali. Be interesting to see some stats production on the production costs.

Like Loz said though, they order so much, and likely own the factories that the production costs are spread around the whole range. Its doubtful they could tell you exact item costs for each item is whatever size as its likely averaged out per unit regardless of size.

They are not working on a cost per square inch for example, they would buy huge rolls of materials at once.

    Mildly scary:

Hence why I always advice against mesh. This video is a good demonstration of why. Will be sure to show them this video when talking about it.

Remember when I started you could get a basic b*tch cm16 for £70 - what's happened I've not seen a sub £100 combat machine in ages?

second hand market is ridiculous. too many greedy sellers trying to justify asking more than retail as they are chucking in something irrelevant or loads of extras I dont want.

    i noticed the same..

G&G CMs here in italy were CHEEEEEAP a few years ago, talking €120 for the basic, €150 for the pneumatic blow back ones..

now you can't find them below €190/200
