The 2 pins in the second to last picture closest to (1 above 1 below) punch them out then the plate should come off.

Yes ive had the plate off.. but then it cant latch onto the gun at all

it doesnt go far enough even with it off??

I think it does, I cant remember i know ive already tried it. But when its off it cant hold onto the gun

hmm did you get a skinnier bit that interfaces with the rail in the box?

there are 2 plates, one thats a thinner end and one thats in the photo. Ive tried both

take them off see whats closer and get the file out

its the end near the trigger guard thats stopping me putting it on though

If you've took the plate off the back and it wont fit you must have one short arse rail

Punch those two pins out (one side may be a half moon if so hit it so the circles comes out first). Then there's a plate they go through which should just drop out but you may need to put a little leverage on it.

Yea, I took out  the pins and the plate... still doesnt go on

Dont know why someone finds that funny?
