    Looking for an indoor site in the south near Portsmouth for this weekend. The weather is supposed to be pants. My mates bailed on me so I'd be on my own.

    Finally gave the warQ helmet a go on saturday. It made me sweat buckets but didn't fog up at all. Very impressed!

    Up to you mate, I prefer not wearing lower mesh but start feeling a bit uncomfortable doing so in shorter range firefights. You will certainly feel it when you get hit in the overgrown parts of the site.

    Personally I wouldn't chance it, i'd also recommend getting there early for a decent parking spot.

    I think I need to install a m120. How can I lower my FPS to under 350 with that spring?

    Chrono it see what you Fps is and cut a coil off and retest just make sure you double coil where you've cut as you could ruin your piston if not

    not 101% certain if that would solve pre-engagement at near 40rps. your 120 would in effect be a shorter m100 so still would rip piston to shreads - short stroke is answer or keep it at 30rps on lower battery

    Last time I flew and took kit it was £10 or something extra for a board bag, (I had a fairly large bag so it took 2 boards, 2 sets of bindings and 2 pairs of boots) I was going for 4 months so had a cruising board and a slightly smaller park board). Mind you that was years ago. If you avoid school holidays its actually much more reasonable. My advice would be start with some of the smaller resorts, go for self catering and work on economies of scale.

    Some friends came out while I was on my season, they rented a 6 bed self catered flat in Meribel Village. On the outskirts of the much larger Meribel resorts. They got fairly cheap flights from Southampton to Grenoble which is a 4 hour drive away from the resort and hired an MPV for the week (worked out much cheaper than 6 return coach seats or a private transfer company). Plus it meant they could drive down the mountain to the super u at the bottom and stock up on beer and supplies cheaper t...

    I have yet to go to the area of the sandpit with the FOB which is the well vegetated area. I would not class it as a woodland site at all. There is certainly areas that have vegetation but not much. It is a quarry though so you get some very interesting terrain to play with. Working together as groups using manoeuvring and firing tactics is way more important then being a sneaky bastard.

    The Mall is a blast - on the right day. Like every site it has its issues but the Mall suffers from the uniqueness of the site in as much as there are a lot of corridors and natural choke points. There has been a lot of work done recently with barricades to alleviate this and a lot of it seems to have worked. If there's a lot of n00bs or just people that don't want to lead the charge then yes, it can stagnate but there is ALWAYS someone who knows tow other routes around a problem that...

    ...is always will to acts as a guide (myself included). As long as you bear in mind that it's a frantic rush of a site and just get stuck in then you'll be fine. If you're going to get frustrated and precious about others not getting stuck in then maybe you need to stay away. My own personal pet hate is the guys that turn up and just shout "GO! GO! GO!" at people then complain when it's not backed up. Not everyone is as gung-ho so just deal with it.

    I played dino crisis, only slightly remember it. Silent hill freaked me out as a kid. Mainly because I didn't know what was going on and them nurses chasing you in the dark!

    nope but classic flogging a dead horse malarky. yup oldies were brill but very dated now - still most new stuff is just re-doing (sometimes badly) the old stuff just with hd graphics
