    The correct answer is no they are not all made equal

    People have fitted BTC Spectre's and had to switch/change COL's

    Usual TM compatible bollox - they all sort of work

    Some better than others, some " lift " more, and the stock ones in most china guns are made of same $hit metal they will wear out in about 10k to 20k and semi no longer functions cozthe COL no longer lifts the trolley off the sear :(

    The answer is they "should" work ok and be made of a decent steel or steel(ish) material to last  while

    SHS switches and COL's have worked ok for me in a few different boxes but not rebuilt an APS quick change shell so can't confirm

    TBH - anything new should be fine & if decent strong material it should last a while - don't just use any old crap lying around as it is most likely worn or soon will be, I'd say go for SHS as they are very easy to source

    Stuff gets stuck sometimes even with an in-date UKARA entry. They're pretty on the ball. Hopefully they won't decide your RIF importation attempt is a criminal one..

    they only do the standard mag pouches though don't they? I cant see the new elastic or fast mags, the GHK don't work with the standard pouches and because they are plastic lined don't stretch out.

    Not sure where you got your info from but warrior normal open top M4 pouches do work with ghk mags, I know as I used to run them myself dude

    If you use dutycalculator.com it will tell you what VAT and duty you'll end up paying precisely and will work out a "landed cost" so you can work out if it's cheaper to import

    the annoying bit is that is the duty is over £50 the the courier companies often aren't willing to cover it upfront and you have to put up with a delay while they contact you (often by post) requesting this payment. Fortunately last thing i imported was just under £50 but had this in the past

    I have 4 GHK mags, each one has popped a leak at different times, in different places, they have mostly been solved by just tightening the cylinder heads down, but one stays airtight, but starts leaking after a few days.Tonight it has had all new o rings ptfe and a bloody good lube so should hold up for a while now.

    myTM mag had a leak too, it dumped all the gas, filled it up to see where its coming from and its was perfect grr!

    if you need to do a quick and dirty fix on a slow leaking mag, fill it up and chuck it in a bowl of hot (not boiling!) water.

    actually, the airsoft did the least damage to the eye...

    however at 13 min, the one he is using is not even penetrating a can? unless they are using thicker/harder cans over there?

    It's also a very valid point he is making that these injuries rarely happens at airsoft events (as we got security rules) but rather when messing about at home. AND quite importantly that ricochet seem to be responsibly for a lot of the injuries..
