  • Need some new mesh goggles, any that you guys rate more highly then the standard chinese knock-offs? Looking for the larger type (not the bullet ant variety).

Used to be able to buy directly through his facebook page. Looks like it is still going, that was how I got mine around a year ago.

Ahh, I see, thanks. That explains why I couldn't find anything, was looking for a retailer.

Turns out all you need to fix Magpul stock wobble is a small piece of velcro, got to love dirt cheap fixes.

As far as I know the moe didn't really fit any gun that well, probably wrong though. Poor man's ctr, I can live with it

True with the stock, but both my hand-guard and grip are magpul parts. Had to file down the top of it before it would sit flush with the guard. As far as I know they're both genuine PTS.

That is weird then, bad batch maybe? Although you have thought their quality control would've caught that :/

Thinking of adding connectors to a front wired M4 to split off the battery connector (to save resoldering when dissasembling), do people use spades for this or is there another type I've not seen?

Yeah, get some small spade connectors and some heat shrink

Some people use bullet connectors, they are a little more robust than spades

Ah bullet ones look pretty good, thanks for the help guys!

Will save me melting more XT60's, my soldering iron is a bit big for doing battery connectors..

Thinking of removing the fuse from an AEG permenantly, is there much of a reason not to? The way I see it any major electrical issue is most likely to happen at the battery end of things.

    AK47frizzle
You don't really need it, it's just there for safety incase. You can remove it if you want

Only way I could see it doing much if there was a short on the gearbox end of things, which I cant imagine happening.

Reason I want it gone is that it makes battery fitting very difficult.

Just passed my mod2 so now a fully qualified motorcyclist! Any other bikers around here?

I have enjoyed my YBR125, but looking forward to getting my first 'big' bike. So far it's between the MT-07 and the CB500F.

Had a bike, but still ride when not in the UK

Anyone here use an element eotech lense protector? The one I received is completely useless as it distortes everything. Am I unlucky or are they all crap?

Turns out G&G wiill happily supply individual parts directly! Top rail and front iron sight for $30 +p&p, seems like a damn good price.

Is this from GP Airsoft UK, or actually straight through them as in you can contact them through their proper website or something?

I just went to guay2 and e-mailed their sales department, got back to me quickly, even the English was excellent. Sent them my paypal details, just waiting for them to send the invoice.

Invoice through, £27.36 inc postage! Seems like guay2 is the place to go for spares.

Anyone know of a retailer which will order in specific AEG components from manufacturers on demand (G&G to be precise)?

Also worth googling 'boneyard fn2000' you might be able to find a broken one being sold cheap.

Unfortunately it's the non-hunter version which I'm after. Found the 3x zoom was a PITA at my regular site, whilst the rail it's got at the moment will work with a regular sight, it's plastic and a bit low. ris riser might work, but then it's more weight on the plastic rail.

Anyone used http://www.a1airsoft.co.uk before? They seem to be the only place in the UK with what I want in stock, but never heard of them before.

    Adam3088

Not that I could find, everything looks legit though and paid through paypal, so fairly safe.

Well that's good then - haven't heard of them before as well but haven't seen any bad reviews or warnings about them either.

Yeah I was surprised about the lack of info, they've got a lot of stock and the prices are competitive. Well designed website as well, much better then some of the more popular places.

After 6 weeks of waiting, my UKARA number!!! Felt like an eternity.

I'd just like the option of buying something nice and wood stocked without it being ruined by bright green paint lol

Just take the paint off a two tone, or repaint one.

You're an airsofter and you can prove it, nothing says the defence is only valid if you're over 18, that's just for purchasing.

The ACPO have said the VCRA is unenforcible so you literally cannot be arrested for manufacturing a RIF. At least not an airsoft one lol.

Way I see it; you're only ever going to get in shit, if you act like a dickhead and if you act like a dickhead, you'll be getting in sh...

shit for that, not for changing the colour of it.

How long did you guys have to wait for UKARA? Almost a month for me, starting to think it's gone missing...

Unfortunately the guy who stamped the form at my site sent it off, so not sure exactly what he did with it. In retrospect I should have done it all myself, might get another form if it's not through by the weekend.
