Well that's a massive pain in the arse, might send it back and try one of those killflashes instead then.

Should work bette but it will limit the light coming in. Alternatively you could go for an optic shield, but they are more unrealistic.

£12 from ant-supplies or about £7-£8 if you get one from Ali-express.

Unfortunately as it's a 552 the shield would be sitting quite a way out from the sight, would make for better viewing but don't want the higher risk of it being shot out.
