  • Just counted my rifs...  thirteen plus the never used pistol.

Sounds bloody unlucky to me,  so the search for a PPSh is back on.

I clearly remember working out how much I would save buying a CM16 rather than renting one when I started out.   What the bastard fuck happened? ?

    I've got one.

I'm looking after the other eight for a friend?

    It works lol.

Agreed, 13 is an unlucky number, better sort that out quick

TigerHK111 got my money for some mags tonight.  Glad I bought £400 of consumables and bits pre-Brexit.   The days of flinging cheapo Kilo 9 BBs at just over a fiver a bag seem over.

Looking for some bits tonight and whoever has UK stock is making a killing.  £25 for an extremely basic bolty mag?  They are still up for their old price of £9 elsewhere, albeit not currently available.

At least Dick Turpin wore a bloody mask.

I'm still surprised at the amount of price gouging that's not going on, although granted that's mostly because I'm seeing things as out-of-stock.  I'd be wanting a stocking system that bumped unit prices to the moon as stock levels drop towards zero.

Aside, Kilo 9 are the only BB that I've ever binned - I bought some of the green green ones (colour, bio) and couldn't get them to hop at all.

Quite.  When I bought and sold lumps of metal for a living, the price could quadruple in an afternoon.

Perhaps as levels decrease we'll see more active opportunism.

Shame about your bio BBs.  I used my last(ish) .28s on Sunday.  They were impressive.

My oldest boy bought some bits’n’bobs from Japan , had the notification on the 25th to say was being posted that day AND arrived today For less than the equivalent in the UK and the P&P was only £2.70 more than the UK seller ! Where as the stuff he ordered from Nottingham on the 22nd STILL hasn’t arrived ! AND that ladles and jelly spoons is why I try my damdest to avoid uk retailers like the plague !

    Hi,

Just a heads-up about the red dot sight protector that we both have (had)...
It's bloody easy to knock it off the sight. I had my gun slung over my neck as I walked out of the safe zone and after walking about 100yds I noticed it was gone.
I'll be buying another as I think it's otherwise perfect, but it'll need something to keep it in place.
Hopefully it won't happen to you :)

Bloody bad luck!   I'll get mine superglued on I think.  I could mess about with other ways but a good degrease and some industrial adhesive that I need to use up are the way to go I think.

It will be silver lining to splitting a new £11 tube of sticks like...

Thank you very much indeed for the heads up.   Really very kind.

No problem at all.  I've just ordered a new protector, and I'll superglue mine on as well...
I could almost not have bothered, as I found an ebay seller doing our sights at £16 a pop... but I wouldn't want to lose use of the sight mid-game.

Picked this up today.   6+1 shooter.

Bet General Custer wished he'd had one...

    6+1 seems a tad misleading.

6+FU seems a bit more accurate.....

The poison rises from the goonads and seeps down to the muscles.

Just purchased a CYMA Dragunov.  Now for the inevitable DMR-ing and standing to one side of other projects for the new toy...

Thought I was quite the smart arse as I dropped a Snow Wolf PPSh into my virtual WGC basket for only £120.00.  With postage, tax etc, I thought that I would still had a reasonable buy.

Carriage to the UK was over £80...  That's more than I can buy an overpriced one for in the UK.

Pretty amused to see another load of drugs advertised on the site.  As if anyone on here would waste cash on drugs when there are toy guns to purchase.

No sane person would buy pills online from some random username. However, there are those do buy from shops with BB in the name, so you never know.

My first garden plinker came from a site with BB in the name, worked fine until I connected a battery ?

Normally I’d agree but can’t complain I just bought a pistol from a business with ‘BB’ in its name(only place that had it)and I had to have it two tone as that’s all they had in stock . Site picture it had a blue slide but on delivery it only had blue grip panels ! Result for me !

I was about to pop a case of cloudy cider into my trolley this evening.  I thought I'd treat myself for Crimbo.  I then remembered the weight adding properties of the stuff, and that any added belly fat would mean that my winter Russian loadout would be too tight.

Can't decide whether I should be proud of the self control, or saddened by the reach of my obsession with running about with toy pews at my bloody age...

Enjoying an isotonic sports scotch in consolation.

After todays shenanigans I caved in.

Two pints in, and definitely  avoiding E-Bays various rus kit sellers for the rest of the evening.

Well underneath our tree sits a box ? about the size of an old gallon petrol can.

It say fragile, glass. When shaken its obviously liquid.

Upon further investigation ? I have seen a label underneath which says in very small letters 'Bristol cider company'. Aha! A clue ?

I don't think she would get me a gallon of petrol, not a todays prices so putting two and two together I'm pretty sure it's cider. However, with it being from Bristol which I believe is the home of west country cider, its gonna be strong and possibly still cider.

I'm a fizzy cider type of animal.

So I'm either gonna hate it,which won't be well recieved, or I'm gonna love it and get smashed off my head ? which also won't be well recieved.

Damed if I do and damed if I don't ??

    Merry Christmas ? ?

That stuff goes off in a couple of hours once opened.  If it's a flagon you'll have to drink the lot in one sitting.

Tell everyone that it would be damned ungrateful to let it spoil...   ?

Just fitted a rotary hop to (one of my rapidly breeding) G&G M 4s.  ML and Omega. HT SHS motor and some cosmetics/ergonomics.

The air seal seams fine judging by the consistency.  Think I'll leave it there until it's time of the rattle can.  The rest of the goodies can stay in their boxes for another rif.

Another AK followed me home today.

    One did last week too.

There's another that I fancy in the classifieds section...

    Is there an AKs Anonymous?

Ordered my fourth AK variant tonight.

I fully expect to use the thing about once a year whilst I stick with my CYMA 028S for most opfor games.

All my rifs are hardly used bar the CM16 and cable tied and gaffer taped under folder.

I put this down to advanced idiocy tbh...

Bollox!  Phone call today apologising for the error in advertising an out of stock rif.

Only TG seem to have stock and they still wont ship to the UK.

So tired I can hardly chew my steak.   Muscles well worked.  Laughter by the bucket load and real friendship being shown.

M14 throwing 0.3s like laser beams.

    Good weekend so far!

Off to more Namsoft silliness tomorrow.  I fully intend to hoon around in more ridiculous manner than usual due to it being the last game of the year.

The Cold War loadouts will soon be out.

    Same Imperialists, different season.

I'm still waiting for the local site to run one that was promised in 2018. I bought the rice hat, the pyjamas, I even got a retro-look amplifier and loaded it up with Viet Minh propaganda voices and tracks.

Still waiting, man, you don't know, you weren't on the list.

All  packed and charged.  A full weekend of airsoft ahead.

Uniform, gnus, radios, two pairs of boots etc.

Went to the supermarket and bought some pork pies and crisps, along with a modest 12 cans of ale, a decent bottle of scotch and some machine rolled Cuban cigars.  Bought the lad 20 Buds and slab of Guinness.

That this amount of booze is  required for what is essentially a sporting event is amazing but essential.  I think that the support gunner role is enhanced by slightly trembling hands.

I will still be following my morning fitness routine though.  Press-ups win prizes...

    Where are you going?

By extreme cunning the boy wears 100% the same size as me.  This makes loadout pilfering a serial household issue...  Although my dislike of cold wet feet means that I always take a second pair of boots.

Sadly our trip to Bedfordshire is cancelled, but Gunman have offered a free weekend at their filmsim sites plus the expected refund or different game.  So it's off to Tuddenham tomorrow.  We'll camp and do both days.

I think my CYMA AK is cursed.   I've gone from loosing a mag each game to losing parts of the rifle.

The rear sight went the game before last, I've just noticed that the stock has sprung apart due to a lost screw.

    Something else to ignore tbh...

Good news, you can now legitimately wrap it in duct tape without being a poseur.

Another thoroughly enjoyable weekend from Sierra Bravo airsoft.  Ran around like a loon for two days. Dressed like a PAVN officer.  Lost weight. Had fun.  Drank enough for five or six sensible men over 48 hours.  Burned through a muchly amount of BBs.  Took about 15 minutes to set up a shot that took out my son and a very close mate, whilst accompanied by close mate's son.  My back told me that support gunner role is contingent on fitness yet again.

All very satisfying.  Will do again.

The black pyjamas always win.  Go home Yankee!

So...  I am half way up some bloody mountain that my Scottish wife has dragged me up.

As a boy from the flatlands of East Anglia I am sitting up reading as she sleeps in the tent, and The Man pulls up in 4x4.  He wants to know what the fuck we're doing...

If I am honest I would say that I am reading the replies to a thread on an airsoft forum that degenerated into a discussion about pissing on your boots.

I tell them that I am reading a few work emails before bed as this spot has 4G.

    Night night.

Had some new boxing gloves delivered today.  Got some new hand wraps too.

Got home from work at midnight and went out into the back garden all excited to do some heavy bag work with the new toys.  Got in about 2am, drenched in sweat, with not one neighbour complaining.

Given the bloody awful noise I made, I reckon that I can still visibly (and audibly) wallop things a fair old bit.

Seriously though, bloody good workout/cardio for airsoft if anyone's interested.  No matter how good webbing gets, you need upper body stamina for milsims.  Carrying an LMG/LSW needs strength over time.

Anyway, that's my excuse for tonight's antisocial behaviour.

My mum got me some boxing gloves one Christmas.

I said am I having boxing lessons then?

She said no,you're to wear them to bed to stop you abusing yourself! ?

Abuse? I never looked at it that way  ?

A full weekend of airsoft, Nam style.  Silly pyjamas, primitive weaponry, and up to your bollox in mud.  Great stuff.

Sank a few beers with mates and dragged an LSW around, much to the detriment of my back.  Hooray for Tramadol and gritted teeth.

Now back home clogging up the washing machine's filter with fern stems and mud, and drinking to another victory for Uncle Ho.

    Du ban yankee!  Vhe nha!

    Nice one, where was that?

I was so disappointed when a local site cancelled their Nam-film-sim. I had the rice hat and pyjamas all ready to go, specifically in order to annoy any "The NVA didn't wear those!" stitch counters. ;)

    Sounds like fun ?

That's what I like about nae.

You are out all day walkin',stalkin'?and talkin' bollocks an shootin' every leaf and branch that dares to move accompanied by shouts of "contact 12oclock!", and " cease fire he's on our side"and "wanker! It's the bloody wind!"

Oh how we laugh till our bellies ache which is fitting as it matches our aching legs and feet.

Then it's back to main arena for drinkipoos and a bit of nosebag and stories of how we each wiped out the entire oppfor single handed that were hiding behind the shivering leaves.

Oh man I so missed it last year ☹

Both of those replies are spot on!

Rice hat, preferably from a joke shop.

    Irate stitch counters.

Mud, water everywhere, with boots still drying out the following Thursday.

Wasting BBs and blue on blue all day.

Pissed and full of dodgy burgers.

    Can't beat it.
