Just wondering if anyone has put a real Sa80 polymer handguard on to a WE sa80 before? is it drop in fit or does it need some fitting?

No. It's completely different. I hade to modify mine to fit a real hand guard.

Iv attached photos. You have to ad a block to the bottom of the existing "gas block" to allow for the sling loop bolt to hold the hand guard in place. First image is original WE, second is my modified gas block
