What the f*ck?? Got quoted £200 as a secondary driver right after I passed today for a 1.4 Jazz. Get a bike!

Will buffing smooth leather boots help water resistance,or is it better to keep it slathered in dry polish and have that waxy texture?

I use Granger's wax on my boots a couple of times a year, seems pretty decent. Actually got a few spare tins if you want one.

kiwi polish, brush it on, leave it 20 mins, brush it off. Never failed me.

Second the Kiwi polish. If you do not want the shine in the field then just apply it by brush or cloth and let it dry to give a matt finish. Always worked for my combat boots.

Decided to make a paypal acc. to buy some stuff off Xfire. Not letting me top up my account, giving me some kinda 404 error. Anyone else having issues with Paypal?

well my credit card is linked to it and it all goes on the credit card bill next month. You don't have to have funds in paypal account - it just goes on plastic

Alright, that's grand then. My fault for not cleaning the gun and bucking really,so much dirt and muddy water built up in it. Cheers for the info

Yeah mines just linked to my card, I only ever end up with money in the actual account when someone has paid me for something

Cripes, first skirmish in 3,or even more months. I wonder if watching hours of combat footage from Ukraine and Syria will have a negative effect on my performance :P

Anyone have any ideas where I can get a hold of some VSR/JG iron sights? the stock ones that are attached with tape. Already emailed aspuk, but is there any other place that might have them?

TeddyBhoy you have made me hate humanity a bit less today, well done. :)

Gun's apart due to lots of water contamination, two overnight milsims worth! Time to have a play with the hop up guts. I'll leave the G-hop experiment since the W-hold refuses to due, right now going to try and make a proper poor man's dangerwerx arm with some epoxy

i have a dangerwerx arm b if u want to buy it i never got around to installing it

Fair play to WE. Their Nuprol gas is a bit of a con but their ammo is very nice.

I'll try get a comparison of them to ASG devil .28s. I tried to split a few of the WE ones but they are far too bloody hard for any of my knives. Overall the only noticable thing is that they are more grippy and 'dry' compared to the more greasy feeling asg ones

    Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies

Aside from just feeling them,is there any test Anyone can suggest to compare polish or any residue? May as well be a guinea pig

The heavy weight ones are great, but anything less than a 0.3g, I've tried in all my rifles, from Spring to Aeg to gas, and all i get is misfiring.

Class,my first weekender is set 2 days after I get my licence. On the other hand,no games on in march and i can't afford to travel all the way to simtac in meath (((

Right,Enslaved's newest single is gonna be played on Radio 1. How long do you think I'll wave to wade through shite 'core' and rap metal?

dont know whatcha talkin' 'bout baby! But im off listening to some Denak followed by some good ol' Body Count

f*ck me,some arseholes robbed my bike. 600 euro and 150 in new parts down the drain. Got more than enough use over the past 2 years but this puts a pretty big dent in my wallet, can't dip into my college fund. Hopefully I can get some sort of transport without canning airsoft plans but it looks like i'll have to cut sh*t this year. Gutted.

Boots arrived. Lovely bits of kit, quality is much better than brit pros. they're used but look new, bundeswehrundmehr seem to stay true to condition choices. Gonna have my brit pros sent off to be resoled in ukraine and then donated to the army or something.

Alt bergs are the way forward.

Altbergs are awesome, just given my son my old pair for cadets and he loves them! If you can make the trip and can afford it Altberg do a great fitting service and even do made to measure! I wore Altbergs and Lowas for my last 10 years in the Army

Completely wrecked the soles of my boots at the last game two days ago. Time to get some nice vibram ones glued onto them I guess.

The ones I have are actually grand aside from the sole. Excellent ankle support and I was wading ankle deep pushing a mock artillery piece and not a bit soaked through,Just the rubber on the soles was a bit soft and some of it got torn- To be honest they can still last a while but I want to get them repaired while I still have money

Ha! turns out the only shoe repair shop in town can;t actually resole combat boots. Time to go shopping then

Excellent, first skirmish since Ukraine this week. It's going to be nice to field my VSR again and possibly my KLMK for the last time this year.
