    I take it you are refering to the game price.

    I think it's good for a a three day bash. Entertainment,good food and beer and as much used Airsoft gear that it will make your head spin. And then there are multiple chances to win new gear.

    Finally got my,ahem,helmet sorted out ?

    The go pro was at a funny angle,pointing more at the floor than forward due to the hinge of the case hitting the mounting plate.I didn't want to get an extension arm which would have sorted the problem but at the cost of raising camera up 76mm so with the Dremel I was able to remove enough plastic from the mounting plate to allow it to swing upright.?

    The helmet has never really sat nicely on me nogging so I set about experimenting with different sizes of velcro/foam inserts which helped but then I looked at the rotary knob for the headband which I thought was at maximum travel but lo and behold it went another turn and fuck me sideways the helmet fits perfect,almost like it's stitched to me bonce. 

    So all in all a good days mucking about??

    Are any forum members going?

    I've never been there but looking at the website gallery it seems to be quite a challenging venue.

    Are there any regular players that can give any advice?

    I also get the impression from the in game pics that it's maybe a speed soft type of play?

    Just had a look … presuming it’s a 9.30 - 4 game day, you might get away with 8hrs at £8.70. Over 8hrs is £12.

    Think it’s a 1.9m height restriction if you’re in a van.

    It’s a short walk.

    I would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year.

    It's been an interesting,funny and,at times,fudal year of forum shannigins and banter which all makes afuk the place to be.

    As of now I am in Christmas mode and shall be donning the Santa apron and putting the Heineken hat on and staying up late.(10.30ish) lol.

    I shall probably go dark for a while as posting up eats into drinking time??.

    God willing I shall be looking forward to another year of Airsoft and gun fun ?

    Well I really can't work women out.

    Mrs Shamal is on a ten day cruise of the med.

    So I hatched a plot to send her a video of her two most loved furry friends. Nonky the tiger and cheeser the mouse. She is so protective about them that it's unreal.

    With the help of @EDcasea video was produced that showed them both hanging from my drone at the local cricket club although they have never left the house.( Excellent production from Ed.) 

    I sent her the video today thinking that she would go ballistic( imagine a five foot stick of tnt in the heat of a Turkish bazaar)

    Her reaction? "Ahh Sweet"?

    Unbelievable!

    I asked her how many cocktails she had had. No reply.

    I may be on some sort of hit list for when she returns.

    If you don't hear from me then you know the reason why!?

    It's a hubsan zino mini pro.

    Got the Mavic air but this one claims 40mins flight time. In practice it's probably about 30 mins though.

    A shout out for help from anyone who is into computers and video editing.

    Ok the plot is this.....

    My wife is off on a cruise on the 5th August and while she is gone I have custody of her beloved fluffy tiger and mouse.

    Still with me?

    So what I want to do is send her a video of tiger and mouse suspended from my drone twenty meters above local cricket ground. This will freak her out and may mean a night or two in the spare room or at worse a&e.

    However I'm prepared to risk it ?

    The problem is that I lack the technical know-how to do this.

    If I were to take video of drone and pictures of tiger (nonky) and cheeser (mouse) would anyone be able to put them together in a believable video that I can send while she is in Turkey?

    A recent one I had was a consultant who designed a system for me to install.  I then had to correct this mistakes, after which I had to shoe into a tiny plant room extra equipment because of paranoia over things failing in years to come.

    Dude looks me in the eye and says "don't worry I have rendered everything in 3D and it all fits.

    Silly sod didn't 3D render my 6'7" 120kG (then) frame into the picture did he - nor all the shit that links all the equipment together.  It was like playing Tetris with a blow torch.

    Now I think about it - he still owes me £4K.  methinks a stroppy email is about to be sent.
