I am keeping it for now anyway. The new gearbox is a QC one, which makes tuning the power easier, even though the gearbox has to be out of the receiver to change the spring.I always try and stick with the stock cylinder set and nozzle and had amazing results with my daughters little g&p with the zci hop unit ( if the original box is still about rebuild it , or sell it to a fellow g&p purist)

Wife would kill me lol , gun cupboard is over flowing with vests and guns , got a full us ww2 para uniform hanging on the wardrobe ( did living history events before covid) and then bags of kit knocking about.

Not bought, but part of a swap; this was a wonderfully awful new Dboys M16. However, equipped with a Perun Hybrid, a ZCI hop unit with a Macaron and an Omega nub, and with a lot of fettling, it is now running rather nicely. I am rather pleased with it.

Couple of deliveries today, aap01 mags and a cylinder kit for an aeg.
I found a company with cheap mags for an aap01 at 15 quid each. Ebog designs. Come unboxed, but seems in perfect condition. I got 3 for 50 Inc postage.

One of the reasons for getting it was the fact that I've got loads of Glock mags that'll fit and dont need to get yet more mags
That's a damn good price though .
