I See Novritsch Has Noticed These Forums Then....

I’m out of here it’s giving me a honking headache trying to focus on the articles without them bleeding in to the background , really unpleasant .

So all I can say really is “Novichok ? Feck off ya twat !”

 
If your company is genuinely top notch and the same applies to the product you put out along with the follow-up customer service, you don't advertise this aggressively.  As with many of the above, ads are expected since the use of the forum is free, so I get it.

That said, these specific ads are the visual equivalent of some drunk dickhead in a club with a 3" and no staying power that touches up random girls then calls them sluts when they slap him.  Both in the subject matter and the obtrusiveness.

Considering that he is offering a discount even on his latest release (SSG10-A3), I don't think things are going too well for him :D

Agreed on the central portion. Honestly wasn't expecting something so verbose right in the middle of the screen. If it were done again I think I'd have this area excluded entirely.

shame tho - the margins is where my thumbs sit on my device of choice ie my iPad - I’ve opened the site like 20+ Times already :(

It might make people the Nov site is endorsed here - without mentioning to the newbies the current shipping issues from Novritsch and any EU sites…

Good for the forum if it brings in revenue, but bloody awful when using a laptop, page almost becomes unreadable TBH

We’ll probably 50% of his business was UK and that’s gone tits up……

Potentially, but another tactic used by sub-bar businesses and those looking to rip-off governments through contracts is to set the 'price' far far higher than necessary then 'discount' it down to the actual price where they're still turning a good profit.  Can't say for sure, but one possibility.

He did use this tactic when he released his hi capa and mk23.

The initial "full" price on the website was €175 or something but already on "discount" at 135... Then, when nobody was looking, changed the full prices to 135. I think I still have a screenshot somewhere.

 
Uh guys... Has something happened with ultrawide optimization?  Edit: Maybe that's what it's always looked like but this god awful ad really makes it stand out
