Download uBlock Origin

Right click the banner, hit "Block element"

Hit "Create" to add the rule - the banner ad should be blocked across the site (example)

If this is the case and there are margins showing on mobile that can be tapped I will fix that. It shouldn't be happening.

Based on the feedback so far: Not enough by half. I'll run a poll when it's done and see if I can get a real feel on how annoying it is.

Nah, I had that but for some reason it just took a few page refreshes for it to kick in. I just kept blocking the element until it started working haha - stick with it! It's definitely blocked for me now

E: I think this is because the banner ad is likely still in your browser's cache, so uBlock can't block it from being downloaded as it's already downloaded. Press CTRL+F5 to perform a cacheless reload and it should work.

The page load times is concerning, but I haven't noticed a difference in testing. I'll report back later today after I've done some proper metrics.
