E&C recoil

If it works will be fun to have a moving bolt but I have so many questions lol I want to see some internal photos 

 
interesting even has a fake bolt with locking lugs. so proprietary hop unit unless it retracts into the bolt. better be made out of some heavy duty material looks flimsy.

 
I was expecting to make some pithy remark about the lack of innovation.....but actually it looks like an interesting middle ground between a gbls das and a standard version 2 gearbox.

pretty much the dbls in a cheaper form, really interesting and tbh, for a while, I thought that this was probably going to be the next novelty in airsoft: actual electric blowback with instant trigger

 
Two pairs of wires coming from the gearbox (but none of them seemingly motor wires).... Perhaps, even if it is compatible with a standard hop, this won't be a simple drop-in?

 
Looks nice but I can't help thinking there's going to be a lot of wear and tear on those moving parts. Combined with having quite a few proprietary parts this could cause problems when it comes to fixing or upgrading 

 
I'm excited about this. 

It mechanically the same as the AAF (American Airsoft Factory) gearbox with a different FCU. 

I loved mine until the FCU died and will look to pick one up as soon as they are available in the UK. 

The stop in empty with any kind of aeg mag including a hi cap was worth it alone imo. 

Anyone got any idea which UK retailers are gonna be stocking this? It's already available in Canada to buy with airsoft depot so surely just waiting for the shipment to arrive to the UK?

I seem to recall people saying much the same about the TM recoils when they came on the market. 

 
Looks like these are starting to turn up in the Asian shops now. If you can't wait for AK2M4 then there's the option of importing. So far I've seen URGI. MK18, M16A4, BCM and DD PDW. Prices seem pretty cheap and start around £227.00 minus shipping and import taxes. For more info on the internals search youtube for E&C E-bolt System and there are a few videos now, including a few on the gearbox internals. Only thing I haven't seen yet is how the hop up is adjusted. Spring seems to be 10mm which might be VSR sized and if true means it should be easy to change the spring to your desired FPS.

They're on 18Airsoft, prices *seem* just... strangely low. I think I've read people say before that gel blaster parts were cheap but mostly the same as common AEGs? No idea. I'll let other people be the guinea pigs that's for sure lol.
