What grinds your gears on forums

Suspect I know why this thread was created - In the future it would be better to list everything for one price rather than priced as the buyer wants it. Neglected that a certain seller removed the original mag release he suggested was included in order to sell in on as a separate listing for £2 then quarrelled over a forgotten 60p in an additional transaction, probably what is being referred to. From the listing seems all his RRP prices were nearly 1/3 to double elsewhere. If the buyer could show the logs they would. Despite the buyer paying beyond top price I believe they have sent a large gratuity payment in order to quell the rage of denizens in the net forest, and maybe as a lesson for the future...
It was started because certain members, (not you) ask me questions about adverts, I give detailed answers and they don’t reply or in some cases don’t even read my answer. If they can’t be bothered to even read them why ask in the first place.
I don’t know where you looking to quote my parts were 1/3 to double the price. The retailer you linked in to me is not a U.K. retailer and their prices stated do not include postage and possible custom charges. I got my parts from BZ Tactical and Firesupport in the main. Have a look at the parts on their websites and you will see what they cost.

Vague description of the item and the seller is expecting people not to ask any questions.

If people are asking questions about your advert then then you probably didn't invest enough effort.

Not to mention the ''upgraded this'' and the ''upgraded that'' but there are no details about the ''upgrade'' part such as brand or model.

My personal favourite is the ''selling for a mate''

First of all, what prevents your mate to create an account and submit an advert.

Secondly, if you do sell on behalf of someone then you'll be responsible, can't blame the ''mate'' if something turns out to be not as described and you'll have to provide after sales support.

And then last but not least:

The fully dressed RIF with optics, lasers, lights on the pictures but they are

''only for show''.

Why the hell would you put on a full range accessories if they are not included in the sale?

Nobody cares about how sexy your WADSN torch and FMA PEQ15 is ?

Sold a rif once and the guy disassembled it, broke the gearbox, then claimed it arrived broken. Silly bugger had already sent a message confirming it worked on arrival though, but that was still three weeks in PayPal dispute. I think that's the only one that really ground my gears.

Other than that there's some funny buggers out there. Shout out to Job Lot posters, always a Perfect Starter Kit. A pile of minging gear, no splits though you're getting that one pistol you might want bundled in with a load of Amazon special, child size, full Multicam Black kit. The worst photos of the worst piles of junk going.

Collection only btw.

This is why I take videos of RIFs I sell working before they go in their box as I also had one like that too. I sold some guy a working CYMA Mk12 SPR with videos of it cycling plus chrono results. I get a message a week or so later about how it doesn't actually work and he sent a video of him pulling the trigger and the gun just clicking but in the background, the full stock was laid on the table alongside an AEG spring plus a screwdriver. The guy buying it had been talking about putting a bigger spring it to bring it up to his sites DMR limits so I suspect he'd been tinkering, banged in a massive spring and broke something.

Just remembered another pet peeve, you see an item new in the classifieds, so you start a pm stream:

ME:  Hey mate, if this is still available I'll take it please....

SELLER: Yeah, still here mate.....

ME: Cool, send me your PayPal & I'll send it over.......

Half hour later, your message has been read, the items marked as "sold" but no reply to your earlier pm.

Hour or two later......

ME: Mate, still waiting on your paypal details  ?.........

2 hours later you see your message has been read, but no reply .........

24 hour later...........

ME: Dude, what's occurring, are you selling this to me or what ?

Hour later, your message has been read, still no reply......

2 days later.........

SELLER: Yeah, soz man, somebody messaged before you........

WTF, SO WHY DID YOU NOT SAY SOMEONE'S SAID THEY WANT IT, BUT IF IT FALLS THROUGH YOUR NEXT IN LINE ETC.

& WTF IS THE GHOSTING ABOUT ?

Definitely should be a reason for negative feedback, even if it's only to wake their ignorant dumb asses up ffs.

I think i've had this today, starting to think that pistol is cursed. Why i'm now not going to mark something as pending again for the foreseeable.

There's only two things I can't stand on this forum: posters who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

"guys I just brought this gun is it any good"

FTFY.

Things that grind my gears? People.

Things that grind my gears on airsoft forums? Airsofters. Especially the ones that have an opinion based on internet rumour and aren't prepared to either learn or admit that they may be wrong, misinformed or not in possession of the ONLY WAY to do something.

People not selling the exact part I need so I have to go back to looking for really weird bits for my broken pews. ?

(Although to be fair I'm slowly depleting Mr huttarmouries pile of bits ??)

"Did you ever find the way to fix this?" On a thread dead for 3 years+
If the original poster is still active that's a valid question to ask. people are bad at follow up. If the OP hasn't been on line since the day the question was asked yeah dead end!

This doesn't so much annoy me but puzzles me.

People who post personally identifiable information such as phone numbers or postcode of where they live. Is online security not a thing anymore?

I can agree here. Baffles me. But then again as ex forces I was always taught in the RAF to observe syops while online.

People overpricing stuff then when someone with intimate knowledge of the platform tells them why getting dogs abuse back *cough* @leez *cough*
