Red 1 Chislehurst closing.

I had mixed feelings for it, had a couple of really good days and a couple of meh days there. But importantly I could take the bus to get there and also take the kid.

The Falkham site is not travel friendly so looking around

So now having looked around at Dropzone, where do they publish game days?

TW Croydon... ugh... Gave it 3 chances, each time it got worse :P if my choices were play there, or quit airsofting, Id probably quit airsofting.

A terrible site; it seemed to improve for a while but then dropped off a cliff.  The final straw for us was when a marshal refused to wear eyepro in the playing area when people had loaded guns and later, when he had eventually put eyepro on, totally ignored a player standing next to him with no eyepro.

A terrible site run by terrible people.

Sadly D&A wont be reopened any time soon, and may not even reopen at all.

The housing shortage seems to come for all the decent fields.

And the labour government changing the rules to essentially allow development on any land that isn't a park or protected isn't going to help over the next few years.

I think we are going to see lots of forest sites posting similar announcements especially those that made it clear they were only their as previously planning was denied.

At this rate the only sites will be woodland in the most far flung inaccessible areas ?

Sadly, I think this is the case.

The issue where D&A operate has been going on for ages; Doomsday, who used to be there, had to shut because the landowner had breached planning regulations.
