Then there's this line from Grand Moff Tarkin after the escape
"You're sure the homing beacon is secure aboard their ship? I'm taking an awful risk, Vader. This had better work."

But which am bestest ?, being old I still favour the first one, A New Hope (technically now the fourth), forget the sometimes dodgy effects etc, it was a revolutionary new spin on sci-fi, which up to that point had been lacklustre at best.

I honestly don't know if I've watched all the 'new' ones but IV, V & VI are still my favourites, probably more to do with nostalgia than the quality of the films tho.
Was on a school trip to London when A New Hope was premiered in the UK... begged for Stormtrooper figures for Xmas and never go a single one (took me 40+ years to find out there were none at the time). I'm adamant I saw some in Harrods which was impossible/improbable.
