So I have nearly finished upgrading my rifle, so here is a picture

Now the only problem is that the hop up is not engaging enough, and I think that it might be because I put a hop up bucking in my gun that is too hard as it works with all the upgrade parts and the OG hop rubber. So I have ordered a 60o Bucking which should hopefully work better than the 75o one that is currently in there.

75 is way too hard IMO. 70 was too hard for my VSR. 60 is sweet.

Yeah I'm just realizing that and I just hope I have the same range that I had for a few shots with the 75 as I was getting well over 100m

OK boys, the 60o hop up rubber and it is perfect. It worked perfectly over the weekend and i am now getting around 120-130 meter shots. One question though, does anyone know where to get a 90o cylinder because that is really the only thing that my gun is missing ?

hey guys 

i just got a Lycan 90o sear and the pegs that come with the gun don't appear to go though the hole in the sear. Should I send it back or is this common mistake with an easy fix

i got it off Ebay but it is all fixed thankfully after about 2 hours and a lot of sand paper

I can’t push out the indicator pin? The pin seems to be underneath the plastic of the gun? Help

It's the smallest Amoeba yet but it looks so cute imo.

It's really hard to find detailed info on it tho, I'm curious to see if it's compatible with AS02 parts.

It will be, it’s just a chopped down version. Also, in my opinion, utterly pointless

Anyone using any dampening material on piston/cylinder head?

Would neoprene be a valid alternative to the extremely expensive sorbothane? Need to reduce the noise AND reduce the cylinder volume (mainly to reduce the noise).

to lower the sound signature, on mine it's a really strong twang even if I only run a guarder SP100 (gives me 0.99J with .2s to stay within the limit). Will also do the heat shrink and beer can mods to reduce the spring vibration.

 

[Striker Barrel Problems]

Hey airsofters,

I recently purchased the fluted outer barrel for my AS02, but the inside of the barrel itself will not fit my Action Army hip unit. Any solutions to this problem? I’ve seen some before show the inclusion of the barrel with the hop unit and am wondering if the barrel can be modified in any way to fit it. Thanks!

I recently purchased a fluted Amoeba brand outer barrel for my AS02, but upon arrival I’ve found it doesn’t my Action Army hop unit. I’ve seen previous posts and comments showing the unit installed with the described barrel and would like to know how this was done. Thanks!

Iirc the short aftermarket barrels require some filing to accept the AA hop chamber.
