Description

Hey,

Looking for a functioning, basically unused P90. I am not worried about attachments etc I can get those just need the base RIF. Not looking for a meta gun or anything over £200 as I want to try upgrading it myself to learn how.

Wanted to see if there were any available on here before buying a CyberGun one from Patrol Base.

Send me some offer/pics and let's see if we can make a deal!

Postage must be an option as I don't drive

Thanks :)

Recommended Questions

Are you specifically after the Cybergun version of the P90 or will any clone of the original TM P90 be suitable?

You can also search for the D90 (licensing issues on the P90 name) and save yourself a few pennies if you don't need anything officially licensed.

Hello,

I am looking for any decent P90 to be fair as long as they can be upgraded or run decent stock. I have looked at the Cybergun p90 on PB but i havent done alot of research on it yet. I have read that the Double bell D90 can be a great smg if a Perun mosfet is installed. P90s (that aren't pricey krytaks) seem to be rare to find preowned. Part of me also wonders is a MP5SD6 might be a better option...

I am due to go to a cqb site in September and have always wanted a P90 so I now have my justification to get one.

Yes, the Double Bell version of the P90 can run very well with the Perun mosfet. The Cybergun (made by Cyma), Double Bell, Cyma and JG versions are heavily based on the original TM P90.

Out of the box, the trigger system, especially on single shot, can be very problematic as the trigger bar gives an inconsistent movement between the trigger and the electrical contacts so using the Perun mosfet bypasses that trigger bar and the electrical contacts pushed by the bar. The Krytac P90 uses its own mosfet but it's not as versatile as the one from Perun. In my experience, the P90 AEG (regardless of brand) is also best paired with the 64-round mid-cap mags (TM, Double Bell or Cyma are fine) or the Krytac mid-cap mags that can be switched between 50 and 200 rounds though they are almost as hard to find as rocking horse poo. The high-cap P90 mags are possibly the worst of any airsoft platform as they don't feed consistently and they need to be removed to be rewound for the next batch of rounds.

The MP5 SD6, A5 or K are all good shouts for CQB. I don't have any specific hangups on the platform or mags apart from making sure mags from a different vendor to the RIF fit securely in the magwell and feed.

Thanks for such a detailed breakdown. I think I might get the Cybergun or D Bell p90 and add a Mtrigger full kit (the one with perun already installed that you just drop into the gun) as I hear they are super easy to install and also bypass the default trigger issues.

I was looking at the Novritsch P90 too but seems like I could get a budget p90 and add a mosfet/upgrades and end up with a similar if not better RIF for a similar price. I know alot of players are against Novritschs stuff though.
