has been upgraded for durability but has increased fps from 280 upto 310. The upgrades done professionally are warhead brushless motor, eagle 6 mk46 main spring m100, prometheus bevel gear, action army pinion gear, flt steel bushings(6mm) and pdi w-hold rubber (aep). Also the drum mag has been upgraded with eagle 6 pinion gear. I still use 7.4 lipo's but with upgrades wwas recommended 9.9life batteries. Please bear in mind this is quite heavy at 6350g
