Cyma AKS-74U Bolster Armories X Gate ASTER Mosfet Edition 

 

Purchase back in January 2023 from PB, used it for 2 game days and the range dropped off, bbs would only travel 10m.

 

So i took it off to my local tech to fix, who found multiple issue on what "Bolster Armories" claimed to have been done to the gun what is stated on there website in the description. (I contacted PB and sent over all proof and the issue was resolved after a few weeks of chasing, they have said the workshop staff will be spoken to and it will not happen again....)

 

Gun had it's rebuild/service and fully working again 1.14j on a 0.28g. Gate Aster mosfet fitted.

 

New silent type piston head fitted what corrected the AOE, 2nd tooth removed from piston to allow correct sector/piston engagement.

 

New 8mm bearings, gear box has been reshimmed correctly, gearbox surfaces have not been polished, like it states on PB but its shimmed correctly and all spins/moved freely.

 

New 18:1 gears to allow slower rate of fire and to allow correct engagement between piston and sector gear. 18:1 sector short stroked to compensate the boost in FPS/joules from bigger spring installed to assist piston return rate. Abbey Gun Grease LT2 used.

 

Two coils clipped from the tappet plate spring and reshaped to allow the 
tappet plate to ‘snap’ back into position more.

 

O-ring fitted behind hop screw adjustment to stop the vibrations knocking the hop off when gun is fired. Maple Leaf Omega nub, purple prommy bucking

 

I've had another 2 game days with it, with no issues and running like a dream. I believe its on around 7,000 bbs fired (i can check the mosfet if needed)

 

Only reason I'm putting it up for sale as I'm wanting to dive in to HPA. I'm up for trades on HPA so message me with what you have.

 

Gun is used and shows signs of use but it hasn't been dropped or thrown just CQB usage. Tracer Unit fits in to the suppressor, Vector Optics Frenzy-X red dot has never been gamed I took it off as didn't want it getting smashed. I fitted the Picatinny rail hand guard so I could run a torch for Invicta Black Site CQB (if you've been you'll know a torch is a must!) Everything included in the pictures I've got the original box to what it will come in (in the loft) 8 mags, high cap has to be held up to work. Has some tape folded and wedged at the rear of the gearbox (pic attached) to keep the gearbox moving and creating a better air seal (Cyma problem on how gearbox fits in)
