Description
For sale is a Golden Eagle metal bodied AK pattern RIF with M4 style furniture.
I got this in a second hand sale in a pair of RIFs, I only wanted the other RIF in the pair.
I have listed it as boneyard as I have not chrono'd or put BBs through it, and there are few issues I've seen, there maybe more.
Known issues:
- The hop slider was found snapped when I removed the top cover, - needs replacing. 3D printed ones can be bought on etsy for £3
- Selector lever is very loose, just dry firing it can drop from safe to full auto. Cyma selector levers are £9 at Patrol Base.
- overall cosmetic, it is definitely metal as the rust coming through the paint shows.
- muzzlebreak seems wobblier than other AK Rifs I have.
- The buttstock has slight rubber pads inlaid. These feel a bit sticky.
The good
- it's a solid weight. It is more similar to my LCT in weight than metal bodied Cyma.
- could make a nice project gun for someone who wants an alternative looking AK Rif on a budget and not afraid to potentially spray paint it.
- features a left handed cocking handle - rare on AK pattern RIFs.
PRICE includes the RIF as pictured, PayPal goods and services fees and ParcelForce 48 postage.
I have tried to picture all cosmetic faults within the 10 photo limit, some small ones maybe missed.
