Description

SOLD

I have listed this gun as boneyard because it's over 10 years old, not been serviced in the last 6 years, and not been used for the last 3, so it could really do with a tear-down, inspection and re-grease. It has mainly used as a backup/loaner.

To be clear - this is an all-plastic gun (receiver & rail) that's built like a tank and is heavier than a lot of metal guns (looking at you Specna). The polymer used is better than any G&G and only really rivaled by KWA's latest KO offerings.

It is functional, and was last chrono'd at ~325FPS.

The good:

- Structurally sound

- OEM'd by Lonex, so Lonex/Ultimate branded internals

- Lonex Metal Hop unit & Steel barrel

The not so good:

- The gun's original wiring made it impossible to remove the GB without de-pinning the Tamiya connectors, so it was re-routed down the buffer tube (there was a recoil version of this gun so the wires were routed on the underside of the buffer tube), however a channel had to be dremeled inside the receiver for said wires. It does not affect the integrity in any way and cannot be seen from the outside.

- The steel parts have very light surface corrosion - nothing a bit of wire wool and oil wouldn't fix

- There is a detachable rail missing on one side (screws are still there). I'll try and find it before sending, but no guarantees.

- The gun was originally EBB with a moving mock bolt - but the shuttle connecting the piston to the mock bolt was made of cheese so self-destructed after the few hundred rounds (later versions of the gun has steel shuttles and BO sold them as upgrades). The mock bolt still functions with charging handle and can still be locked back with the bolt release.

- Meh Motor - works out roughly 28TPA so slow on a 7.4v LiPo but snappy enough on 11.1v.

Caveat Emptor/Sold as seen.
