Hi everyone,

As an ex-serviceman, an Airsoft system that functioned like the real steel L85 really appealed to me. This RIF has served me well, but I have since discovered electric blowback systems and haven’t used this rifle for a while. I am looking to move this on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.

- Genuine DD L85 IW rail

- Element LLM01 inc pressel (I think the wire inside is busted. The light and laser work fine. Takes CR123 batteries)

- 70° Maple Leaf Hop Up

- NPAS fitted (she sometimes shoots a little hot, so this thing is essential!)

- Upgraded nozzle (can’t remember the make)

- ANT Supplies Weaver to 20mm Picatinny converter (discontinued, VHTF!)

- ELCAN clone, fixed magnification with illuminating red dot in the crosshairs (takes CR1620), top mounted red dot sight (takes CR2032) and EBS

Notes

It is a first generation WE L85A2. I have added some customised washers to the recoil springs to minimise wear and “mushrooming” to the bolt carrier assembly, which is still the original(!) It still cycles just fine  I have upgraded the nozzle to a more durable one, and still have the original and another that doesn’t quite feed properly kicking about which will go with it if wanted. 
The original olive drab handrail and carry handle sight (with front sight and respective mountings) are included. I still have the original hop up Allen key and original hop up rubber. 
Also included is my army issued two point sling with quick release clip to transition to one point.  

There are 7 genuine WE real cap mags included for an authentic combat loadout capacity, though two (numbers 5 & 7) didn’t survive storage and are not gas tight anymore. I’ve tested all the other ones and they are fine. Whilst I am knowledgeable about the rifle, I’m not so much about the mags so repairing it has been beyond me and I have no idea where to even start(!) As a result, these are either a boneyard or fixer upper piece. 

There is an issue with a bolt at the front of the weapon system that I would like to draw attention to; the fitting for the hex key on the head wore away so I used a Dremel to cut a recess to allow a screwdriver to extract and reinsert that bolt when needed. I have photographed the piece in question. 
 

Due to weight and for safety and security, would only really look for a collection by the buyer from Leicestershire. 
 

Shoots best on 0.28 though 0.25 are just fine. 

If it does find a home, I have 3 & 1/2 bottles of green gas, 1 & 1/2 bottles of white and a bottle of red gas, as well as about 2/3 of a bag of 0.28 Ares Amoeba BBs that can be taken along with it. 
 

Overall, the condition is well loved but maintained and well functioning.
