Here we have my CYMA Platinum CM.097D that was sent from new to Luke at Negative Airsoft and still hasn't been skirmished. 

I was going to have this DMR'ed but after some issues with my Scorpion Evo, I decided to keep it as a standard back-up "battle rifle"

As such I didn't want it to be a 60rps, Gate Titan'ed DSG build or anything like that but just a solid workhorse that you can simply pick up, plug a battery into and play with. 

 We put in new bearings, shortstroked and shimmed the gears, changed the piston. A CNC ZCI hop chamber, 60 degree bucking and omega nub have since been fitted. The pistol grip on the original was awful, so was swapped for a very comfortable Element one.

According to my chrono it's shooting a nicely consistent 340 - 343fps with 0.20g (hop set to 0.28g). It's also clocking in at IMO the perfect ROF of 25 rounds per second and as shown in the video, very snappy. Other features of this RIF are the steel 13:1 gears, MOSFET, Microswitch Trigger, Quick Change Spring and aluminium externals.

I was of course very pleased that we managed to achieve amazing trigger response but I also love the shade of green Luke added to the receiver and handguard. It's hard to describe as it's something he created using airbrushed shading etc but IMO it's not too light and not too dark. It's very nicely applied and finished with a clear lacquer but as with most paint jobs, it will come off as the rifle gets bashed and scraped. While it hasn't been through that yet, there are some minor areas where you can see the original black paint underneath.

Only selling as I like to have a varied collection and already have other M4's with M-LOK handguards.
