Seem G&G have updated their website for the new L85A3
You can access the exploded diagram for the changes.

it continues to be a ETU style weapons but with some notable changes besides the obvious furniture. Trademark don't appear to be one to one with real steel version.

New hop unit design, dial type and a new outer barrel to support it. Likely a flat bucking.
New style of pistol grip which houses the battery similar to ares verson.
Piston size unknown., though sector gear appears to have 16 teeth so piston likely to have 10mm spacer and standard piston.

An electric Micro switch trigger? (see below) no more trigger bar to gear box.
Features G2; motor braking function; pre cocking (8 Stages); 3 round burst; 5 round burst. Not sure if this will replace perun but out of the box this aint bad.

I wonder how many units they're going to do for the first run and the price.

Not sure, i would say possibly around the 450-550 mark. I have been asking some retailers if they can get them in, no word yet.
People could wait for the possible but maybe inevitable clone if the price is to steep.

Regardless i'm sold, I have had my A1 since around 2007 and love every second of it. maybe an A3 will keep going for another 10 years.

Can't imagine you'll see a clone otherwise someone would have cloned the Ares version already?

Personally, i've had nothing but problems with my G&G L85A2. Accuracy feels like pure RNG regardless of hop rubber, inner barrel or hop unit unit I use. Cannot figure the issue out.

Was thinking army armament would clone, like they did before.

Sorry to hear about your accuracy. have you tried an inner barrel stabilizer from airtech?
