Kha0s
I'm looking to sell my old bolt action rifle, but have been away from airsoft for 10+ years so I'm a little hazy on exactly what upgrades went into it. Internals are compatible with Type 96 parts and I know it has an upgraded CNC hop-up chamber which fits AEG barrels, but unsure on the manufacturer. It also has a 6.01 tightbore barrel, but again I can't remember the manufacturer after all these years. The spring was upgraded and I have a feeling some other internals too (piston head, spring guide?) but can't say for sure and it's not really apparent from looking at them - so for the purposes of pricing should be excluded. Barrel cap has been replaced with a threaded one, but doesn't currently have a silencer fitted. Front bolt to secure the barrel to the stock is loose and tricky to align, so I usually just wrap with electrical or sniper tape, which holds it solidly in place - even without this, there isn't a huge amount of movement. 2 mags included and the pictured 3-9x scope could also be included in sale. I've disassembled, cleaned and greased the moving parts and put a brand new Guarder hop rubber and nub in. I've test fired at home, bolt cycles smoothly and it's shooting an average of 445fps on the chrono using 0.2g BBs. I think the gun was also sold as a "Warrior G22", but essentially it's an L96 with a custom stock. Retail price for new ones seems to be around the £120-140 mark. Appreciate this is a difficult one given my uncertainty around some of the parts, but even a ballpark figure would be helpful!
CRTHayes Posted Monday at 13:58 Share Posted Monday at 13:58 To be honest without knowing internals and the fact that the upgrades are that old you can’t remember what they are I’d say 75% of retail would be fair maybe a little extra as a bundle with scope mags etc from there can lower as you please until get a sale hope this helps Kha0s

I figured that might be the answer, but good to have confirmation - cheers! I need to have a dig around in the loft to see if I still have the original box it came in. If I'm in luck, I might have kept the packaging some of the upgrade parts came in too. I had tried digging through old emails to retrace my steps but wasn't having much luck.
