fragbeaver Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 Spanby airsoft 17th & 18th of Sept 2011Hi guys this will be a private airsoft event the site is mainly used for ww2 and Vietnam private battles. But we would like to expand and hold private airsoft events there as well. Description of the site: ... It is a 75 acre woodland site, and we can use it all if we wish. With a large firebase consisting of trenches and bunkers, there is also a small vc village with great defensive positions, with the odd foxhole dotted about. It also has tracks for vehicles lots of built up woodland and also open spaces ideal for snipers. The Scenario: Will be based around Bosnia you will have mercs and rebels and other factions. Teams will have to work together to gain vital strategic objectives and other mini games through out the day. Information about the Site: We have basic toilet facilities and no running water so you will have to provide your own. We have areas to pitch tents and a large parking area. Alcohol is only to be consumed after the endex has been announced!!! Fees and times: To play for the weekend it will be £25 Friday 16th: You may turn up to set up but only after 1630 Saturday 17th: onsite for 0800 briefing at 0900 endex at 1730 But possible night tactical!!! Sunday 18th: onsite for 0800 briefing at 0900 endex at 1400 Kit Requirements: There are no restrictions on what kit you wear, just wear what’s comftable. You must provide your own weapons and ammunition you must also provide you own food/drink. Weapons must be within fps regulations Assault riffles, SMGs, LMGs must be within 350fps Sniper riffles must be within 500 fps but must not be shot at less than 60ft Directions: Nearest Sat Nav location is NG34 0AT this will take you to highfields country retreat the woods are located just past Spanby village which is about 1/2 mile up from here on the right. Event will be signposted on the main A15/A52 roundabout,on mareham lane near the turning to Spanby and at the entrance to the location itself.Go through the village (please drive slowly) and after the last houses their is a track on your right which leads to the forest. From the main A1 follow signs for Grantham and take the A52 towards Boston. At the roundabout linking the A15/A52 go straight over for about a mile you will come to a crossroads marked THREEKINGHAM right and SLEAFORD/HIGHFIELDS COUNTRY RETREAT left. Go LEFT follow Mareham lane past HIGHFIELDS and take the road to SPANBY which will be on your right (careful the turning is on a bend) follow the road through the village and you will come to the final event sign.
