Wegalaxy
Hello. I've been using my new tracer unit for 3 matches now cqb. And it's great. I've noticed that 1 in 15 shots won't be illuminated. Normally during rapid fire it will start to have these symptoms. I use asg .25 green tracer bbs on my ARP 9. Is this normal? Thanks
Galvatron
It depends on whether your ARP9 has been modded for an even faster rate of fire. The Brighter series should be able to keep up with most high rates of fire. My Brighter C can light up BBs for up to a 35rps rate. If your rate of fire is slightly above that, the chances are you're shooting faster than the tracer unit is specified to keep up. If it's below, there might be an issue with the tracer itself. Wegalaxy
Hello @Galvatron I meant after a volly of shots during cqb. It also sometimes does it if I don't fire for like 3 minutes the first few shots wont light up. Do you think it could maybe have a lack of charge or low battery? Thanks
Anonymoose
Have you cleaned in the bore, in case the sensor is dirty.

Thanks Possibly though if that sometimes happens because you weren't shooting for a few minutes, the tracer unit may have gone into sleep mode from being idle. Wegalaxy
Thanks everyone this may be the case @Anonymoose. It's brand new so I don't think that should be an issue. @Galvatronthat would make sense, I'll find out how long it's active until it does into sleep mode. Anonymoose
I have a Brighter R too. It goes into sleep mode after 5 minutes but is woken by movement and i think it beeps when it becomes active again. But it shouldn't be skipping shots, mine certainly doesn't.
