PMR/Midland G9 Pro radio users - possible to connect a tactical headset?

Hi chaps,

I wondered if there are any Midland users (or general PMR to tac headset users) who can help please.

I would like to pair my G9 Pro with a headset - something like a Peltor Comtac with a mic. Is it possible? I have been bamboozled by talk of differences in impedance and the like. I have also emailed EARMOR and trampled around the forums and reddit for a clear answer. Some say it cannot work or that you need to shave down the PTT connector...So can anyone please tell me what PTT Connector and tactical headset do you use and have working well with Midlands? Or is it a case that PMR 446 will not work with the low impedance head sets unless I buy an amped PTT?

Many thanks in advance.
