Hi all. I’ve got a G&G ARP-9 and I’m using Classic Army X9 120 round midcap mags.

With 0.2g BBs there’s no feeding issues. However with 0.25g and above there’s major feeding issues. At least for the first quarter of the mag.

Semi is sort of ok. Full auto is where when major misfeeding occurs.

I’ve looked online. Did a bit of research. People are recommending Maple Airsoft Super Feed spring. I’ve bought a pack, should arrive in a couple days.

What I’d like to know if anyone has any experience in changing the spring of an X9 mag? I’ve read that I might have to cut the spring, but this is where the info gets conflicting. Some say cut the spring shorter than the existing spring. Some say make sure the new spring is longer.

Hoping you can help.

Thanks
